Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In the market for a new laptop guys. This one seems to suit me well but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if it's a good price for the specs. I'd love of someone could take a look and give me their opinion.

I know very little about specs but just wanted to reply in case you were pulling the trigger on this today. 250gb is at the lowest end hard drive even if it is ssd. I think you would be better spending money on a higher ssd and saving money by going for a laptop that doesn't flip around. I would wait until one of the more knowledgeable posters answers.

I don't think you need a touch screen on a laptop. Just adds weight and cost. You'd be better with a lighter laptop and a separate and lighter tablet is you needed the latter.

Someone will be along shortly to recommend the honor magicbook. You'd really need to say what you want it for.

It will mostly be do zoom classes and Netflix etc. I had a small flip laptop before that I liked but it was just so laggy and slow that I ended up hating it.

If you really think that you would make use of the convertible aspect and touch screen then go for it.

    but would you?

outside the microsoft surface pro with detachable keyboard most windows laptops are too heavy to use as a tablet in practicality. look into the surface pro on a deal if you really want a windows tablet

the cpu there an ok one - will do the job

    8gb ram is enough

256 gb ssd is fine if you are not going to be storing loads of media on it.

it's a plastic chassis build not metal where you could get a metal laptop for cheaper

1.6 kg is portable but you could get lighter for cheaper if portability is an issue.
