    Good Morning,

I am looking at getting a new TV for my sitting room, I am trying to decide between the Samsung QE49Q80T or the Sony BRAVIA KD49XH9505, which screen looks the best? I see the Sony has 100Hz but I have always had Samsungs and never had any issues. Are there any other Tv in the price bracket you would recommend?

    Thanks
    Dave

    Hi Davexirl,

thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you.

...that's a hard one - they are both pretty much the best screens you can get unless you go mad and upgrade to one of the new SONY or LG 48" OLED models - I personally would probably go for the SONY as it uses an Android OS - but in performance terms there is very little to choose between them - they really are both super TV's and realistically very few top end alternatives under 50"..

Thanks again Dave and keep us posted if we can assist,

Thanks for that, I appreciate the quick response.

The Sony ones does look nice, I'll be ordering later on in the month during the black friday sales., I'll see what offers come up on your site.

    Have a great day.
