The Easter Island statues for me here.

They're so intriguing, much more to learn about than a mountain (even if it is a very beautiful, very impressive, mountain!)

    Ghengis Khan Statue (Mongolia)

Park is gorgeous but going for the mean imposing statue :)

    Banff National Park (Canada)

    Nature at it's best

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,506 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

    Nature vs Manmade this time!

I'll have to go for the statue in this one, as more of a "landmark" than an entire national park that's nearly 10% the size of ireland!

    Ghengis Khan Statue
We have a few similar parks in this but no other giant Ghengis Khan Statue, that thing looks massive

I voted for statues over nature last time. I'll change that here. Banff is much more than just a mountain. The Chinggis Khan statue isn't as mysterious as the maoi.

No easy ties at all this round (apart from Norway v Saudi), but Banff for me here

St Peter's Square for me, both as a landmark of that country, and a spectacle in its own right. Even though it's anything but square!

Oh, nice timing to drop in

Tower Bridge guvnor, it's proper sound innit?
A square? An empty space? Gimme a break mate

    I'm back.

Tower Bridge, its a better landmark. Have only ever seen it raised once but its something.

  • Registered Users Posts: 779 ✭✭✭ChannelNo5

    Yeah gotta be tower bridge

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,258 Mod ✭✭✭✭cdeb

Never a big fan of a big square. St Peter's, Red Square, Tiananmen - good, but not great. Too open and a little bit uninteresting really

So I'll go with Tower Bridge here.

St Peter's Square. Just because I associate it with Christmas as the Pope's greeting was always on the TV in our house every Christmas Day.

I thought this was easy to start, but that library is weirder the more you look at it.

But the falls are spectacular, so I'll vote for them
