Aldi & alcohol

Was in my local aldi today around 2. They weren’t selling alcohol. Aisle was blocked off. It’s not essential?

My tesco has the doors too, it does look closed off.

As I said, that law comes into effect on the 12th January. Easy to get the two dates mixed up!

Can't see any benefit to Dunnes enforcing that law earlier than necessary and just before Christmas too. Would piss off a lot of their customers.
