Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cavani is really shutting everyone up who called him a mercenary in the summer, despite never actually showing any traits of being one

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,535 ✭✭✭Dave0301

I have said it before on here, but this no reason why Martial should be played centrally instead of Cavani.

His work rate and movement is just on another level to Martial.

Can't get over how hard pogba tracks back, shields ball, plays sensibly now.

Don't know if that makes last few yrs even more unforgivable or not??!!

Hasn't stood about waving his arms at sh1t in a while

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,844 ✭✭✭py2006

Pogba now vs. Pogba last few yrs.

    Hard to believe

We'd actually miss him bigtime if he goes

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this, but Pogba is going to win us the league.

I'd say should we do win it.

Bruno will have far more of a say in it.

All credit to Ole... managed him brilliantly

If Cavani had the brains around him that would supply him properly he would score 20 a season.......he is the finest footballer at the club since Cantona in my opinion.

Cavani is United's best striker by a mile.

    Cavani deserves a goal today.

    He did indeed...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,988 ✭✭✭FourFourRED

Such a pity he isn't 3 or 4 years younger. Same with Ibra when we signed him, time just wasn't on his side.

That little back flick at the start of that movement. So good. If you cut him open he would be full of football intelligence.

his celebration after his goal says it all. love that passion, drive, will to win, whatever its called

    Similar to lukaku

the right service and he'll score some goals, you can see him giving out about not getting the ball in

As class as Bruno is, he can't do it all alone.

    Pogba has been contributing lately.

Martial, Rashford even Greenwood were all capable of getting top 4 last season. They're needed now in the next couple months more than ever. Time to step up lads.

Need to see this out now. Fulham would still worry you on the counter. Time for McTominay?

If anything Pogbas recent form will raise his resale value.

It's not, the state of the market is all that will set his value. You know what your get with him and what he can do. His form or effort won't dictate much .

Teams will take him for his commercial value, id expect them to be an Adidas backed team

Come on, they're not in the same league, Cavani has been world class for almost a decade at this stage!

Fresh legs needed. Good save by De Gea.

I think Cavani and Bruno are frustrated by the lack of crosses from Shaw

I wasn't disagreeing with you, my point was both players are chipping in with big moments, goals/assists and there are others that need to get the finger out.

Cavani has more goals than Martial in 50% less time, won the game v Southampton and putting in a terrific shift tonight.

Martial, Rashford, Greenwood all capable of more but we need to see it is all.

I'd tend to agree Bruno will have more of a say for sure.

Bruno needs a rest sloppy pass but in fairness he got back to win it.

Ha, no just that the camera showed him with Carrick and the rest all having a chat as if they’re trying to decide what to do.

Bailly, when fit, is our best man at the CB position. Id love Axel to get a few games. Tonight would have been perfect.

Whether either is a leader at the back is another thing though.
