Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I signed up to Electric Ireland a couple of weeks ago when I moved into a new apartment.

When I was signing up, the lady on the phone quoted the prices which I thought were OK. However I just discovered today after reviewing the tariff that she gave me the prices excluding Vat and didn't tell actually me that they were ex. Vat which I think is sneaky.

Anyway, because of this I am shopping around and noticed that SSE are much cheaper (15cent / kWh for SSE vs 20 cent / kWh for Electric Ireland). SSE won't be raising their prices this winter either.

I'm outside of my cooling off period. I also got a welcome bonus of €265.

What sort of charges do I need to be aware of if I switch over to SSE? Is there a €50 exit fee? Anything else?
