Why did they do that press conference from a small landscaping company?

Most likely no one else would have them in PA, they arent really liked there, I wonder why

yeah. I agree. It'd be worth it just to see the look on Trump's face.

The way Chris Wallace is talking (Fox moderator of the first debate) - he almost certainly voted for Biden.

They thought it was a hedge fund willing to make a huge donation to their spurious lawsuits.

Delighted for Joe Biden. Third time lucky. At last America gets the President that they the people voted for. It's the President that America needs now someone to bring them altogether, to heal and unit as the United States of America.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Giuliani from hero of 11/9 to stooge

A small part of me is tempted to sympathise. All he had to do was just do the odd speech for money and he'd be remembered fondly. Instead, he's joined the Trump cult and nobody will remember him as a hero at all. Now, he's just a guy who was pictured with his hands down his pants with an underage girl in the room.

    Things I cannot wait for

    1) trump having to concede

    2) his physical removal, be it voluntary or otherwise from the White House

    3) biden's inauguration (which Trump won't attend)

    4) him getting banned from twitter for multiple breaches of rules when he is a regular punter

    5) the criminal prosecutions.

    6) E Jean Carroll's case

    7) the calling in of the debts

    8) his divorce

Hes always been involved with Trump even prior to 9/11, he deserves zero sympathy

Oh yeah. He's got fully autonomy. He made these decisions himself. It's not often you see someone fall from so high though.

    Biden tweets:

    https://twitter.com/JoeBiden/status/1325118992785223682

He's hitting the right note, talking about wanting to heal the divisions. That's going to be an important theme in the weeks and months ahead.

So first single term president in 3 decades or so, and loses the popular vote in both elections he ran in.

Yip, and his 9/11 form was an outlier for a very odd man.

I have sympathy for him. His record as a great mayor is all spin. He enabled Trumps complete BS over the last four years and he treats women like ****.

I'd seen the John Oliver piece a while back. Perhaps I should rewatch it.

I'm guessing you meant that have no sympathy with him.

This is the quietest I've ever seen Trumps twitter feed. 7 tweets and the first 4 when he got out of the bed were censored. The last claiming he won the election again. You couldn't write this stuff. Crazy.

I have noticed people ask why such interest from Ireland.

It is correct to say that the we no longer have the connections we had 50 years ago, but my Grandfather was born on Long Island, my Aunt is a retired nurse in upstate NY, I have 2 cousins in upstate NY, they have 3 children, my nephew was born in Miami.

    We are still connected.

I wouldn't read too much into that, he's golfing:

    Wow.

Feels like a weight has been lifted.

Not going to lie. 2015 Tory win, Brexit, two more Tory wins* and Trump 2016. This sense of relief and hope is an odd feeling to say the least.

*Counting 2017 as a win even though they did the deal with the DUP.

    AP have called Nevada.

Fox have also called Nevada and both of them have also called Arizona. They have Biden on 290 as it stands.

Even without bloodline connections, we all live on the same planet, and the US is a huge superpower. Anyone questioning why Irish people have any interest in US elections is either being disingenuous or ignorant.
