Do people realistically think some of the US pharma/tech companies could pull out of Ireland if Trump gets back in?

Quok, you're inferring too much from the discussion. Rosser asked specifically what Trump could do for the employment industries in Appalachia and why folks there would still vote for him. Not the economy as a whole, not even as a relative case for what Biden would do for the economy of Appalachia, just why they would vote for him. If, in the specific case of an Appalachian coal miner (not iron miner, auto worker, or plumber), neither Trump nor Biden has provided a reasonable plan, then that miner is probably voting on another basis.
A number of studies following 2016 concluded it had far more ti do with racial resentment than the 'rust belt' narrative, which certainly has looked more and more likely as support has stuck for him without his helping jobs nor the economy.

Just watching the correspondents on the ground in WI, MN and PA, they arent even going to start counting the stashed early vote for another 5 hours, minimum.

Biden will win this, but it'll be tight, it'll be messy and it'll be frustrating. Exactly as expected. Night night.

I'm gonna take that cue myself.

Could have done without that heart attack few hours.

At least I got the Jameson Black Barrel open for the night :)

Seems there's a lot riding on Detroit which has a lot of votes to be counted.

Looks like the Republicans have won the NC senate race. No chance of NC going for Biden now.

Same dribble from your mouth all night as if you know for a fact.

    Biden 2.16
    Trump 1.88

    So close

Don't think we'll learn anything significant for a good few hours so I'm going to attempt to get some sleep.

Think it looks marginally better for Trump as it stands. Night folks.

Looking much less bleak than an hour ago. Mail in ballots look good in Michigan and Wisconsin. Pennsylvania will hopefully come through along with Maine 2 and Nebraska 2

    292-246 a very real possibility.
