Last week I had lunch with a Muslim friend. After we ate, he paid for it. When we left, he opened the door for me to leave. An absolute gent. Big family man who does a lot for his local community no matter who they are.



This is the reality of 99% of interactions people have with the Islamic faith on a daily basis across the EU. Nothing but peace, love and respect.



But it will never, ever make the news cycle or the papers because racism and hatred sells.

I agree with you, they're not ALL involved in terrorism. But a lot of them would turn a blind eye if you were the one getting your head removed on the street. There are plenty of stats out there on UK based muslims thoughts on sharia law, homosexuality, female genital mutilation etc etc etc and it's not pretty.

The notion of "moderate muslims" is quite out there.

Fianna Fail - a party struggling for identity should run under a tough borders policy. I'm telling you right now it would be the saving of them as a party of relevance. At the moment they are Fine Gael light. Fine Gael is an open-borders party. Letting them come in from everywhere. I want a pro-European but hard external border of the union policy. It might actually bring Britain back into the EU at some stage. Shore up the Mediterranean.

Other EU countries can pick and choose who comes in. We should be able to aswell.

The "moderate Muslims" are simply ignoring certain elements of Islam. Muslims are actually the biggest victims of Islam many of them fear for their lives if they try to leave. I firmly believe that ex Muslims are some of the bravest people in the world.
