Regardless of religion or extreme views, the people who perpetrate this level of violence against their fellow citizens shouldn't be used to raise the awareness of their own religion - no matter what diverse section of that religion it is or isn't - they should be held-up as terrorists, and opposers to free expression. Just heard on radio the suspect that was shot in Vienna was 20 years old and had previously been convicted for membership of ISIS.

The European police forces seem to be able to figure out who the extremists are but not much they can do about them.

It still doesn't change the fact that the stabbing in France was done by a migrant.

So, conversations about migrants and what they do in Europe has relevance. I don't get this need by some posters to deflect away from that.

Not all the terrorists have been first generation. Many have been second generation. This is known. It is possible new arrivals bringing more extreme views with them and radicalising the second/third generation or else sending Imans to ME to train could also be radicalising them. The extremists are popping up all over Europe. This isn’t an isolated event. We need to know what is causing it so we can figure out how to stop it.

You might try and paint people’s posts as racist. But notice the common denominator in the terror attacks. The perpetrators are Islamists, not Hindus, or Buddhists, or Sikhs. We don’t know who the people coming in on the boats and we don’t know how many fought for ISIS.

What is France's & Austria problems today will be ours tomorrow.
The EU needs someone like Trump with a backbone, guts and resolve to 'build a wall' - we'll call it 'Fortress Europe' to protect and ensure the survival of our hard won way of life.....and let the bleeding hearts go unheeded and bleed away.

Stopping the migrants is one thing but we are forgetting about the biggest tool at their disposal, internet.
Close the borders as much as you want but the possibilities are there for anyone to go and radicalise themselves.

The internet has a lot to answer for as well in radicalising these people. My point was most of the folk I see getting on boats are black Africans. Italian authorites waved on a nutcase to leave the country a month or so ago. Should we be questioning the Italian police on how strict they are?

I have no problem letting in Syrian or Kurdish refugees. Put yourself in their shoes. What would you do?
