Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What'll stop this or at least reduce it is a judicial system with a backbone that hands out severe prison terms for acts of absolute brutality. Until then these walking cancers will do as they please with little fear of legal consequence.

will it though? They have very severe sentencing in the the USA and they still have this kind of thing, even worse. There will always be stupid, vicious animals like this but I suppose we would feel better if they were given a longer sentence, it wont stop scum being scum though.

Scum in prison can't be scum on the streets. We've a much smaller amount of scum in Ireland than they do in USA.

USA has an enormous population and its really just not an applicable comparison.

If the penalty for such an act of depravity is 30 years to life as opposed to 5 - 10 years and off you go out to re-offend it will make them think twice. IMO.

Judicial system has no balls, these scumbags know that.

Should take away the original “hit him” etc Audio. And instead replace it with the song ‘Dublin in the rare old times’

These Dublin Underclass **** are pure Brits, parts of the city may as well be Salford or some skank part of Liverpool like Wavertree or Kensington. I've always regarded them as barely Irish despite their exaggerated accents and chauvinism about 'bein' a Dub'.

There are the exact same type of scumbag in Cork and Limerick, I've been around them. You wouldn't tell the difference apart from the accents.

I think we need a meaningful penalty that avoids the costly process of prison for run off the mill scumbag behaviour.

why cant dublin city council move these creatures and thier relations out of the city and get it finnally fully gentrified. time for google and others to buy up these areas and exterminate these vermin

Think of the cost these types place on the country

    Lifetime dole
    Childrens allowance
Nearly free rent (which they still wont pay)
    Legal Aid
    Damage caused to property
    Theft
    Taking up doctors time
    Rehab for addiction
Rehab for injuries caused by stupidity
    Drain on education services

A cost benefit analysis would make interesting reading!

Dublin is the a55 hole of this country. It's where all the sh|t comes out.

Even the 'posh' areas aren't free of problems. There's a lot of homeless and mentally ill boomers talking to themselves.

The hatred just oozes from you doesn't it?

Everyone can attest that you can hardly drive down Westminster Road in Foxrock without nearly running over half a dozen or more nutty old people rambling away to themselves.

That's one thing is they just talk to themselves. There's guy on my street that every once in a while tries to kick pedestrians. He leans against a fence where the footpath is narrow and kicks some people who pass. The second time we leaned against the fence I stopped and allowed a woman pass in front of me. He then kicked the woman instead of me. Now I'm crossing the road when I see this guy.

I really do love when someone gets their just deserts & I don't think I'll ever change.

It seems the fella who took the hatchet to the head wasn't so sqeaky clean himself.

Using a knife in any kind of dispute(even on a dog) is scumbag material.

But the fella who took out, & actually USED a hatchet(as in, he didn't just threaten with it), is on a whole other level. That's attempted murder.
Wouldn't for a second stand behind an act like that.

I seen that video & it was a really hard watch. Even if the scumbag did deserve some retribution for his own actions, I'm not sure a hatchet was the answer

I'm the 'dirty foreigner' paying for this degeneracy in taxes.

If you're foreign you need to move to a more affluent area to avoid getting murdered by this cattle. But you still have fake beggars spit at you and mentally ill chase you around.

These animals with hatchets and knives aren't working class, they are the welfare class.

This is why I hate government. It only knows how to redistribute other people's money so I end up paying taxes to finance something that raises my cost of living and might even kill me.

There is some truth in it. Not the whole truth but phuqq it, the way things have gone in the past 25 or 30 years most of the Irish people are sitting on their holes in offices or else bossing other people around. A frighteningly large percentage of the actual drudge work that keeps the country going is done by Polish and other foreigners. A lot of the office crowd don't really do much. I have witnessed that myself. If they went home and did nothing people could survive without them.

Most garages now have one Irish guy with a big belly and massive grin on his face, actual fixing of cars done by Polish. Aforementioned Irish guy spends so much time drinking pints in Lanzarote and skiing in the Swiss alps he could barely change an air filter for you now

Any pub that gets mad busy, seems to employ a hape of Chungwans from abroad while the owner relaxes.

England is much worse again. Everyone who is actually from there wants to be a manager or inspector and drive a big black Mercedes

Nobody can be arsed making anything either, just buy from China, give them all our money and slowly become their colony. The few refuseniks holding tough and still making things here employ large percentage of Polish

    Poland for the win!

That's called free trade. most electronic products are
made in China or other Asian country's.
It's simply not viable to build factory's in Ireland.
We have brewery's , international tech company's, agriculture and tourism.
Big company's like foxconn specialise in building phones laptops etc in China Taiwan
where wages are low compared with the UK or usa
One example in the USA to employ one person in a factory just to pay health insurance is 7k plus for the employer before they pay a salary
Saying no one can be bothered making anything here
ignores the complexity of international economics

There's crime in every big city in Europe there's drug gangs mafia gangs etc
I don, t think dublin is any worse than most EU city's

The country is buried under cocaine, everyone does a few bumps on the weekend now, those people need dealers, and those dealers are violent criminals who carry on like this, but of course, the dealers YOU get your bags from wouldn't do anything like this, YOU'RE not funding them, that's everyone else.

i agree with a lot of what you have said but thats just evolution of our economy, Poles will be doing the same in Poland in 20 years, with people from Moldova and Romainia as thier underlings, Ireland is however a massive agri player, supplying Uk with most of its Beef and France and Belgium with lamb, the Chinese with dairy, also the chinese are now snooping around for beef and lamb also as food supply is a huge issue for them. African countires will have same problem in next 15 years. Ireland will be one of very few countries relied upon to feed the world, Ukraine, NZ, Brazil, Uruaguay and after that very few can afford to export thier own food, thats frightening.

I wouldnt be worried about green agenda or veganism , it wont affect irish agri, problem will be trying to produce to demand globally.
