And what are the SCOTUS going to do?

There’s plenty of votes in PA for. Biden win even before those Mail-in ballots are received after Tuesday.

What will the SCOTUS do? I, you or anybody on here hasn't a clue. It all depends on what evidence, if any Trump and his Team provide.

I have a bad feeling Trump may squeeze the narrowest of narrow victories in PY and GA, the mail-in votes are under serious scrutiny and a lot of them may be deemed spoilt...then it's left to Biden to stay ahead in Arizona (where lead is narrowing) and Nevada where he has a very small lead with plenty of vote left.

I think Biden will just scrape home with Arizona and then it's down to Nevada and probably another 24 - 48 hours of watching the count and possible recount there, and he will probably just edge it.
Seriously, are you joking or just not able to work.things out?
This thing is over, Biden is getting a minimum 290 electoral votes.

    Scary sh*t now

It's not scary until the guns come out or the Supreme Court exhibits political bias in influencing the outcome of an election.

Form my American buddies, this is the feeling too.

This is going to be extremely close.

Kudos to them on their increasingly imaginative grounds for lawsuits.

50K left to be counted in Georgia.

    Biden needs 70% of them.

I don't know where this figure is coming from. There is 50k left to be counted, and he's about 20k behind. This would mean that he'd need 70%.

The thing is, there's supposedly 200k left to be reported, and he's 20k behind, so he doesn't need anything close to 70%. There's a big difference between the number left to be counted, and left to be reported.

Thats better - big difference between stopping voting (after the polls are closed) and stopping the vote counting!!!

Wondering what exactly it is that he really means when tweeting this:

    https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1324353932022480896

    "STOP THE COUNT!"

How does that translate into English as something other than stop counting votes?

Could a double run-off in Georgia lead to the Democrats surprisingly taking control of the Senate in the mother of all comebacks?

Yeah, it seems to be a common trend from the remaining Trump supporters in this thread that they don't understand the difference between the two.

Fair enough. If the count is stopped everywhere then Biden wins as he's ahead in Arizona and Nevada.

I fail to understand, actually I despair, how people can support and defend such a muppet.

I was wondering the same thing. It seems incredulous that nearly 50% of Americans would think that he has done as good as, if not better, job than previous presidents.
Basically, I think it comes down to:
    1. He cut taxes which put a bit more money in people's pockets, to the detriment of the balance sheet of the government, I suppose.
    2. He cut regulations on corporations, mainly environmental, which resulted in their stock prices to go up. Which resulted in people's pension plans looking rosier. But overall, not necessarily in the best interest of the country as a whole.
    3. Florida was mainly won I think because he told the Hispanics that Biden would be bringing in socialism, which is just what many of them have fleed from

This is pretty good analysis. To add to this,
    1. Trump has cut the corporate tax rate, which has kept the economy on a high despite the pandemic. In conjunction with this, the (supposedly independent) Federal Reserve has committed to buy and lend trillions of financial assets keeping it artificially high.
    2. He started the "Trade war" with China that has been pretty detrimental short term to jobs and the economy, but could be good longer term (IMHO).
    3. Trump has taken a strong anti-immigration stance. Whatever about how effective its been, in particular to the economy, it appeases Middle Americans who have been told that they are taking their jobs.

Point (1) (2) and (3) have been detrimental to the balance sheet of the government, but let the next Democratic government pay that back. This has been the Republican way for the last generation.

    4. Although the threat was there, he hasn't got America involved in a large war overseas.
    5. He has the support of the largest news cable network corporation in the country. Its laughable how spun the headlines are in Fox News when you compare them to The AP, Reuters, or other news outlets.
