"Tyler Durden" is a Bulgarian called Daniel Ivandjiiski.

He was banned from being a stock broker after being found guilty of insider trading. Zero Hedge is registered in Bulgaria and founded a week after his ban.

That's wise. Developed a reputation for itself in the aftermath of 2008 and tends to get things utterly wrong. It's just rants.

They seemed to go from having some vaguely useful opinions and information during the 2008 crisis, upon which they built an audience, to just morphing into an ever weirder and more extreme ranting account that's best ignored these days.

Head of the GOP on Fox now, its obvious what their strategy is now

They are claiming they werent allow view the counting and will try to deem the vote illigitmet

Biden is ahead by 43,000 votes in Arizona. Jo Jorgensen has 44,000.

It'd be fascinating to know who voted for her. She's a libertarian, so they are right-wing votes, but if she wasn't running would those votes have gone to Trump?

Dunno. Jill Stein took about 1% nationally last time, similar story, but in HRCs favour.

Some bint out of Michigan on Fox News right now talking about "massive" voter fraud in the state.

Biden up by 140,000 votes. No recount, no court action is changing that fact.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel on Fox News now going on about "very very serious" fraud they will be bringing to court, but not giving much detail about what they are (other than what has been said already)....but that its coming after affidavits and statements!

350 votes counted from a box with only 50 votes in it

Rep observers cant see from 6 feet away

Rep observers not being allowed in or who were kicked out

    etc etc

Great to watch the TDS in full effect over on https://thedonald.win/

    A few highlights
Just waiting on the call, and I will gladly make my way to DC to stand by and stand guard. Trump is our president until 2024, and I will do everything in my power (which isn't much on my own, but is quite a lot when others join) to ensure that. We need a multi-million+ human wall surrounding the public land surrounding the White House
There is no conceding. There is no backing down. There is no peaceful transition. All of the shills, trolls and doomers on here don't understand one thing. This isn't just about Trump, this is about stopping a socialist/communist takeover.

All of you don't understand we will fight to death to stop it. Keep deluding yourselves that you will get to sit in the basement playing video games all day off of government money. Last time I checked most people in china are what you call "slave labor". I will gladly die over being a sweat shop worker.
Revenge, proper revenge, is needed against these pedo leftist globohomos

    What a bunch of losers

Georgia is going to a recount. Very small possibility Trump could win that.

No chance of him winning PA even with a recount.

That is the only relevant incident I saw amongst all the noise. When the democrats went to court to counter that court order it was not a good look because the original order said covid guidelines must be followed.

Talking about 50 votes here, 50 votes there like that makes any difference.

They are just trying to stoke the flames.

I mean, that's all fine, but they're assuming it means that any shenanigan is in DJTs favour. I think we all know that any likely sh*twitchery would be from the GrifterOldParty supporters, amiright?!

You realise that's what Trump would do? Why would you act like him? Isn't that what we all wanted to get rid of?

I kind of feel like if Biden doesn’t even mention Trump’s name, that would get under Trump’s skin even more

what democrats have acted like trump????

Imaginary ones for when someone wants to say "but they're both as bad as each other!"

That's going to be a hard sell for four states, all of them traditionally conservative (except maybe Nevada?).

If Trump lost by one state then they could have a chance with stuff like this, but four just seems like sour grapes.

Similar tactics worked for them in 2000 when they stopped the recount in Dade County because they couldn't see it.

    Won't work this time.

But even at that - "We didn't get to check them" isn't evidence of fraud though.

At the absolutely best the outcome there *might* be a recount being ordered , but that's not going to find 10's of thousands of incorrect votes.

They are just trying to stoke the flames.

The tactic now is not to win the vote legitimately but to squat in the White House and claim it was a bogus election. The kind of thing the Belarus president or some African dictator would try.

And the Republican leadership is behind this strategy. Trump is definitely not alone in being loo-la.

Never said it was, just that it doesn't look good, I can't imagine a legitimate reason for it and it shouldn't be acceptable.

The worrying thing about all of this is that Trump and his ilk are making a direct attack on the foundations of US democratic culture.

All democracies rely on an acceptance that parties and supporters will accept the will of the people as expressed through the ballot boxes. When you start trying to attack the foundations of the system, democracy begins to die.

The constitution, rules, regulations, laws, and all of that are only as good as the culture they exist in and once that fails the outcomes are well known in many trouble spots around the world.

The people behind these attacks need to be called out for what they're doing. It's completely contrary to everything that the US would claim to stand for - as is the voter suppression, the gerrymandering, the failure to recognise the that stuffing the Supreme Court and assuming it will bend to political will is a gross violation of the concept of divisions of power.

All of that is anti-democratic and about as 'un-American' (not a phrase I'm fond of) as you could possibly get.

Joe could be 100 + million votes and 300 plus electorals and Trump would still be insisting it’s a fraud....

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,305 ✭✭✭✭namloc1980

What about the dead Republicans, have they not voted, or can you even vote from hell?! Amiright?!

(PS: Is there a worse affectation than 'Im hearing stories...'?)

Classic Trump approach to these things to spread disinformation:

    "many people are saying....."
"I heard people are saying...." and so on

Well all these types of stats are misleading due to population growth and turnout. They're presented as historic support but it should simply be measured by percentage votes (popular vote) if you're going to talk about it at all.

Oh I agree, but the biden supporters are going on about Biden's popular vote figures, while ignoring the fact that turnout is higher than normal...it's that sort of selective facts carry on that has led to trump getting elected first time around...

I've no horse in the race, Still think Sanders was the best man for the job
