The President needs to get this obvious mail in fraud thrown out. The Democrats must not be allowed subvert democracy like this.

Expect at least one war of aggression/fomented rebellion in another state if Biden gets in.

Not allowing mail in voting is subverting democracy.

So only in person voting should be allowed?

It would be positive all round if Biden took Pennsylvania and Georgia as well so that it would be a clear win. It would help to avoid damaging nonsense from Trump over the next few weeks/months.

True, but Trump will try something regardlesss.

i'm cheering for trump but i tend to agree with you.

and i'b be interested to see how biden would do as well; how the media will deal with him, will he be good/bad, how the handles the far left in his party and all that other stuff.

The 'far-left'* - should always come with an asterix when talking US politics. Their far-left would make the Tories bloody communists.

Haha, good one. You were quick to laugh at everyone else when Trump was winning, but now its all unfair and cheating when you're losing.

    Boo ****ing hoo.

A win in Pennsylvania and Georgia would be a big boost for Biden, otherwise as you say his presidency will start off in somewhat of a quagmire. The less avenues for Trump to launch vexatious legal challenges the better.

Should the people who sent mail in votes for Donald Trump be disenfranchised?

The polls showed Brexit was happening but the political class and media types knew better... Some pollsters do get it right, some have got this right. But losers like Nate Silver should have been a laughing stock after 2016 but again was actually seriously listened to this time round. And will be in four years again.

The tome of both your posts have changed hugely in the space of a few hours.

Aside from the taste of victory, surely this is still a sh*t show for the Democrats? They look likely to squeak through 270-268 against the most disliked candidate in history (even more than Hilary), and will be fairly powerless due to failing to take the Senate. Plus in 4 years they'll be fighting for reelection for either 81 year old Joe Biden, or the very unpopular Kamela Harris.

Any half decent Republican candidate would be a strong favourite.

There's not a whole lot of glory to be had here, even with a win.

IMO Biden would not seek re-election, and Kamala Harris would need to go through the primary process. She is not just guaranteed the nomination. Her future popularity is unknown, of course, but should become clear in due course.

Democrats are set to become the first party in American history to win the popular vote in 7/8 elections.

It also takes the pressure off Nevada, and would allow him to effectively give a victory speech today at some stage.

Have you got a link for this fraud? You could try asking Donald, I'm sure he has some screenshots of some he got off a blind mans laptop the FBI stole from him.

The threat was that the GOP, aware as they are that they can't outrun demographic change away from them, would use the next four years to further disenfranchise American voters as required, and make it effectively impossible to ever vote them out again no matter how few people actually want their policies.

Biden has now recieved more votes than any other candidate in US history, so the fact he's "squeaking" has more than a little do do with what Republicans have used their power to do, with the bull**** being done to the USPS, the gutting of the VRA, and lots of other very ugly stunts like limiting the numbers of drop off boxes. It is more than a coincidence that crazy amounts of mail in - ie Dem - ballots keep going missing in battleground states.

A Biden Administration makes a huge difference on that front. Yes, a blow out would have been great, but this is cause for celebration.

Yeah - George W remains the only Republican presidential candidate to win the popular vote since his father in 1988.
