Replacing Sky Hub (Siro Fibre)

    Hi all

I recently got Sky Fibre (via Siro) installed and their hub/router isn't great (can't change DNS for example) so I was thinking about replacing it to something more flexible that would support VPN etc

Any suggestions? I was looking at some of the new TP-link Wireless-AX routers for future-proofing but thought I'd ask if anyone has dine this and what they went with?

The second question then would be the settings needed on the new router. Were you able to get these?

    Cheers for any advice.

Anyone? :) Some googling suggests the UK version needs a router with DHCP option 61 but the ROI version is different?

Why would you Google UK sites instead of searching boards?
There are dozens of threads here with the solution.
VLAN 10 all you need from the router , any modern TP LINK could do this.

Boards search isn't great at the best of times unfortunately :(

So, I want a cable router then I presume? Any suggestions/recommendations?
Where do I get the connection settings for Sky?

I've been trying to improve the fairly poor wireless on this Hub tonight and everything is so locked down with minimal control it's ridiculous.

Go with the Mesh system instead if it is big enough house.
