How does BOI deal with current accounts with a zero balance? Are there any fees levied on the account that would be subtracted from any future deposit? Thanks.

    Hi The Shelby Sensation,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

All personal current accounts would be subject to maintenance and transaction charges which you can view here. These charges are applied automatically and if the balance is at zero this would bring the account into an overdrawn balance.

    Thanks
    Tara
