Majority of the free hand sanitizer in shops is rubbish.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,094 ✭✭✭.anon.

Hand sanitizer was like gold dust between Match and about July.

Good time to get into that business. I bet they cleaned up.

Actually, I need to put that on the shopping list (another good thing that I started doing during lockdown)

Edit: the shopping list, not, y'know using soap

I think week's show has something to commend it , especially when compared to last week's effort. Last week- a few already wealthy (or at least very well known) individuals pimping their books in time for Christmas, plus the usual misery fest. At least this week we see some individuals trying to make a go of things and showcase their efforts- for that alone I salute them!

Modern like - and what Greta etc is telling us. Is stop buying ****.

Like when the fast fashion was closed there was war - as people where going on as if necessary .

We all know - we are all buying **** , and throwing it out.

You need feck all of 90 % of the **** we buy.

    Couldn’t agree more.

    It is everything..

Milk, for example: one historical product that now must have about 20 fooking different variations...

World is mad! Want want want.
We have completely lost our sense of appreciation and value for things!

Hand sanitizer was like gold dust between Match and about July.

Remember certain shops especially one in galway charging customers 4 times what it was worth. Dispicable.

A friend of mine has Jo Malone soap from Brown Thomas. And she only brings it out when she has guests.

Would you be well like. I couldn't care less about things like that, absolutely null and void snobbery. Soap is soap.

The wholesalers supplying the shops we're flogging it to the highest bidder. The shops we're damned if they do, damned if they don't stock it.

Does anyone have the link to where you get the suppliers?

There are still a couple of old water mills grinding flour, totally green energy. Martry Mill flour being one from near Kells in Meath.

Isn't soap the most oversold present in the history of mankind.

    The smelly ones in particular.

About 2 people a day have a bath now.
