    It’s so close

    Could go either way

Penn is what changes things but I think Trump can win all the rest and then go to court over Penn

Supreme Court could rule some absentees invalid

I’d be backing Trump at 16-1

    Sniff, sniff, sniff
( pitter patter of little paws )

    50K+ of them? not likely.

The only way I can imagine that happening is (and I haven't checked this) if they really are saying a supreme court decision is being challenged about late ballots, is that what they're doing?

the only late ballots in PA that are controversial are those received after election day and they have been locked away and not counted.

Mad to think they would think that's a good look that they can only win by disenfranchising thousands upon thousands of people.

    Pretty on brand all considered.

Biden had better pray the recount doesn't go to Trump :D

Christ, how can they be in a "frenzy"? The writing has been on the wall for almost a day now, but now they are in a frenzy?

We are talking about a petulant manchild who has gotten pretty much whatever he wanted for all of his life. What's more, he has been surrounded by a special kind of sycophant during his time in the White House. If Trump believed that he was winning the election, that's what his staff would have reinforced in his mind.

It's only now when the hard facts are emerging that the even harder cold light of day is crossing his orange brow. It must not be sitting well with him.

There's only a few thousand late ballots in Pennsylvania. It won't change the outcome. The only reason they are looking to go to the Supreme Court is to sow more doubt about the election. No other reason.

It's difficult to take Trumpism and make it into something more presentable, because a large component is inherently polarising. It's anti-science, anti-media, street-fighting, and proud ignorance. Hard to wrap that up in a nice package.

Yeah, but if the last few years has shown anything it’s that there is quite a market out there for that worldview.

Watch the video too, the retired Navy business associate and a source within DOJ say there is an ongoing investigation. (The DNI said the claim that the laptop was russian disinformation was categorically untrue). You can claim it doesn't affect Biden but that's ignorant of the evidence on the laptop that is yet to be shown to be fake. Apparently the FBI only wouldn't reveal it to be fake because they didn't want to interfere with the election, they don't have that excuse now

So that's a no then in terms of an active investigation into Joe Biden as you claimed.

For anyone who doesn't understand how betting works. If you put on 10 euro at 16-1 for Trump to win, you lose 10 euro.

I really doubt Trump has slept whatsoever for the last 2 days, and think he has been spending all his time barking orders at his aides and staffers and planning what options he has to try and steal back the election. Give him a good night's rest and a happy meal and he could come back out barking.

I don't know, I'd say he knew weeks ago he was likely to lose and started pushing the idea of mail fraud.

The whole legal sideshow smacks of an attempt by him to sow the seed of conspiracy that will be used in 4 years for the benefit of whichever of his family decides to run

Trump is unlikely to win Georgia and Michigan. He needs both as well as Penn.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Good that the GOP are likely to maintain control of the Senate so that some of the more nutty policies from the Democrats have no chance of getting implemented.

So the entire western world is socialist already? I've found nothing but shocking ignorance from anyone who has so far complained about people having the gall to have a problem with literal socialists (i.e. Bernie, AOC in the US)

Can you name AOCs socialist policies?

Apparently the traditional procedure here is that the losing candidate phones the winner to congratulate him on winning and wishes him the best of luck in his presidency as well as offering any support he may need for the handover in the event of an incumbent. He then comes on tv/media to officially announce his concession and the winner would then make his speech. Somehow doubt Trump's going to do that...

Trump is unlikely to win Georgia and Michigan. He needs both as well as Penn.

Trump can still have take Wisconsin, Georgia , Nevada, Arizona very easily

Penn is an issue but Philly is a hot bed of voting corruption and I could see a recount invalidating 100k late votes

This ain’t over, recounts which do not include late arriving mail in votes could swing to Trump

Biden needs a significant insurmountable win in Penn or two others

If not this will be decided in Supreme Court

I wonder - Jo Jorgensen seems to have taken a decent portion of votes in the disputed states. Presumeably, most of these would be more likely to vote Trump in a straight two-horse race; migth she have cost Trump the votes he needed to win the election?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

The mental gymnastics and straw grasping not just from the Trump camp but his supporters too, is a sight to behold.

No evidence is required, no proof offered, just as long as it can keep reality at bay.

The evidence on the laptop (which we are all waiting to be declared as fake by FBI now that the election is over) and Bobulinski has told the FBI that Biden is involved.

Yes they are only investigating the money laundering of his son with people on the record claiming Joe is involved as well as easily falsifiable evidence in their custody. It's a bit obtuse but yes, you are correct. If it's all fake emails etc. the FBI should be leaking that momentarily.

That's my point: even if Trump could prove fraud in Penn, it probably won;t be enough.
