I think the sums up Trumps reign.

The President of the United States legal team holding a press conference in a parking lot in an industrial estate next to an adult entertainment store.

Well and all the dead people voting, The counting machine "software issues" that were discovered giving Trump votes to Biden and the places that refused to allow republican watchers into the counting rooms but hey, lets keep the pretense that nothing foul happened this election and Joe Biden is just a more popular candidate then even Obama was.

You are right. He is blaming all of that. And the 'MSM' and the big tech (that were his biggest enabler).

It's all horse**** and just shows you how Fu+ked up things are that these stories are given the light of the day.

We should ignore all of it really, it's just more stroking and masturbation of Trumps badly broken ego.

What do you do with a narcissist? Ignore, ignore, ignore.
Hard to do when President. Not really as relevant anymore.

Just to save someone time, here's how the responses to this will go.

*Do you have a source for any of these accusations?*

*Dude it's very obvious that this happened. Are you blind to the truth?*

*Yes but do you have a source?*

*Provides link to trumpisthebest.org/thefraudisreal or something*

*Dude that was debunked days ago. Got any other sources?*

    *Well yes here! cnn.com/fourballotsmisplaced*

*Dude, that is normal in any election, and the same thing happened to both red and blue votes. This would have been spotted anyway on the second or third levels of inspection.*

*User goes quiet or moves on to something else.*

This never happened, why are ye lads so intent on spreading fake news? :pac:

Their leader has told them what to say and they are dutifully following orders.

I did.... I said our systems are similar (I did not say they were the same) , but the USA's representation per state is the issue, not the system itself and readjusting representation per populations would fix that issue, if possible...while still keeping the electoral college votes....

I also discussed other possible changes to improve their system and why changes in the USA are complex and it involves 50 seperate states to all agree to the new system before the next term.

they are not similar at all. One bases the number of elected representatives uniformly according to population, the other doesn't.

I'd suggest you take a watch of the John Oliver video, he covers the court cases and watch what the judges say to the trump lawyers..

Wtf was this all about? Doesn’t seem plausible they booked the wrong place? I reckon they have so little money left they couldn’t afford a decent hotel room venue. Maybe this business are local trump supporters and offered it for free

They announced at the 4 seasons

4 seasons told them to fùck off

Rather than admit this they found the first place with 4 seasons in its name and used that.

    Plan backfires spectacularly.

Just on these 3 things - (increase in income of lower earners, GDP growth, stock market surging)

They either simply didn't happen or were significantly less spectacular than claimed by Trump.

Increased income for Lower Earners - Nope 57% of Americans earned less in 2019 than they did in 2016

GDP Growth - Yes , it grew but the growth was nothing special and was outpaced by every other President except GWB and Carter.(even excluding the collapse due to Covid)

Stock Market "surging" - Again , yes it grew , but slower than it did under Obama for example

Like most of his "achievements" the details are greatly exaggerated or just simply not true.

Across the whole range of Economic metrics , Trumps performance puts him in the lower half of Presidents over the last 50 years.

I absolutely agree with you that he tapped into the "disaffected" American far more effectively than any politician in a very long time .

He did nothing to make their lives better though.

Those people still exist and still need the help they thought that Trump was going to bring and that will be the challenge for any future US governments - How do they actually solve the problems that these people need help with.

The Issue is that the solution is probably more "Socialism" - Higher taxes on the wealthy funding Healthcare , Education etc. and the very same people those efforts would be targeted to help have been brain-washed into thinking that Taxes and Government supports are "Radical Communism" that will lead to the ruination of their country.

    1. Wages amongst the poorest quarter of workers in the US has been growing at 4.7% a year. That was making lives better for the poorest Americans.

    2. GDP kept growing from a very high base. That's a decent achievement in itself. Obama and Clinton came into economies that were in a bad place. You can't really compare GDP growth under Trump with that under Clinton and Obama.

    3. The stock market surged to record levels. Under Obama, the S&P increased by around 100% (from 900 pts to 1800). Under Trump, it's at 3,500. So an almost identical % increase to Obama and Trump was coming from a much higher base and we're in the middle of a global pandemic.

He also had unemployment at a 50 year low.

I'm not sure that is any better than accidentally booking the wrong Four Seasons.

I check new posters reg dates/post counts. Then just scroll past if they don't meet my criteria. This is for both sides of the argument.

Ye, I wish they would just lift the threadbans. I have a fair idea who is who, but it would be way better if we could just see them honestly.

Here's what the GOP/Trump produced in one of their frivolous lawsuits in Nevada. 2 one page affidavits. On one of the affidavits the evidence offered was that the alleger suggested that her roommate "possibly" stole her ballot :pac:. Not surprisingly it was thrown out. Looking forward to more of the same this week.

Even then, the coincidental naming of Four Seasons Total Landscaping and Four Seasons hotel chain, and Trump tweeting it would be at the Four Seasons and then having to clarify Four Seasons Total Landscaping.... it's like I said previously, regardless of what the explanation is, every explanation is still really funny. The coincidental naming, Trump having to clarify, the landscaping place being adjacent to an adult store and a crematorium, Rudy finding out during the thing that all media outlets called the race for Biden, Trump golfing at the time.... The whole thing ended up being hilarious.

I know Boards has an ignore list, but it would be great if it was more powerful and we could simply tick a box to hide all posts by those registered within the past month.

Although, I would miss reading their saltiness.

    What definition of in unemployment?

The Torys in the UK claimed that too. Yeah great, everyone running about juggling multiple zero hour contracts.. brilliant

You can complain about the electoral college system all you want but it's not gonna change without both party's agreeing to it. Republicans wont ever agree coz they'd lose more elections. Dems wont ever get to change it on their own coz they'd need a 75% majority in the senate to pass a change to article 2 of the constitution. Ain't ever gonna happen!

It will happen if and when at least one of these three things happen.

Well, look, maybe that's a fair argument. But then you'd have to make the same arguments against Obama's presidency and the achievements he claims. I find people move these goalposts to suit their argument.

The Federal Bureau of Statistics say unemployment was at a 50 year low under Trump's presidency. I'll take that as a solid stat. If we can't use that statistic then there is no point discussing any achievement of any President because there will always be a way to cast some sort of doubt.

It would need an amendment to the constitution which require three-quarters of states legislatures to agree to. It won't happen.

Indeed- it was a fitting end to a farcical “Presidency” and campaign. Giuliani looked absolutely pathetic

And three-quarters of the legislature will agree to it if one of those three things happen because republicans know that it would be incredibly unlikely for them to ever win the electoral college again.

I don't think we'll fully appreciate how funny it is until we look back on it because so much else is so surreal right now. It really couldn't have been scripted. I was bursting my bollox laughing at the whole situation last night. It's insanely funny.

I wish I could have been a fly in the room when Giuliani and Trump found out where the press conference was going to be held.

If Texas continues it's urbanisation, they'll have no choice, Dems will essentially have a lock on the presidency. The GOP will have to go back to the drawing board with their policies to move towards the centre.

To be replaced by what? Republicans have won 2 presidential elections this century so far even though they lost the popular vote.

They dont have to agree to it if and when this policy gets agreement from the correct amount of states.

It definitely didn't hit me on Saturday, but any time I thought about it yesterday, it just got funnier and funnier. Just every aspect of it, every possible explanation... Not even the likes of The Thick Of It or Veep could have made something like this seem realistic enough to think it could happen in real life.

Yes, and that's because one of those three things hasn't happened yet.

There are many things it could be replaced by but I don't consider myself knowledgeable enough to give an opinion on which of those would be chosen.
