The polls have been proven to be totally wrong, so I don't think you can make any conclusions at all from polls as to who was actually wining the election.

Biden has been declared the winner by the media giants however yet has to be certified the winner from my understandings.

Let's see how this plays out in the courts...time will tell if your correct.

Here's what Rudy Giuliani had to say not long ago.

Also can you tell me who was the last person to recieve over 70+ million votes in US elections?

The polls weren't proven to be totally wrong. Nor were they proven totally right.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statewide_opinion_polling_for_the_2020_United_States_presidential_election

Georgia was polled as close. It turned out to be close. Ohio was polled as close. It turned out to be close. Arizona was polled as close. It turned out to be close.
Florida was polled as close. It turned out to be close. The places that really surprised the polls were once again in those upper 'rustbelt' states. However, it is not fair to say that polls are worthless, especially when offering no alternative on how to scientifically gauge voter intentions except to say, "Look at Trump's rallies vs. Biden's" (which is anecdotal rather than scientific).

The last two presidential candidates to receive upward of 70 million votes have been messers Trump and Biden, AFAIK. This election just gone has appeared to be quite remarkable in terms of political engagement, although given how divisive a president Trump is, the level of activism seen around the election shouldn't be massively surprising.

Yeah probably just a coincidence, I'm interested to see how the party goes from here. Can the gap that is absolutely there be lessened, can deals be brokered, if not the party may well see itself up sh!t creek come next election.

I think a lot of finger pointing has come from pelosi breaking with tradition and backing a challenger against an incumbent. All because that incumbent is a progressive. And the seeds of pointing fingers is still growing, I agree it has stop!!

Not a fan of the squad?

It isn't like progressives haven't broken plenty of norms, in 2016 their sour grapes helped hand Trump the presidency. We can keep going over ancient history or we move forward and right now everyone is trying to blame each other when they should be celebrating achievements.

I actually support a lot of their policies and points of view but I understand how harmful they can be for many dems in other areas. They're either politically naive quite regularly or don't care about moderate dems when it comes to the soundbites they give. The right wing media doesn't need much to attack and tarnish all dems and they too often fall into given them amazing soundbites.

They did have a very good point regarding continuing to knock on doors. I understand the concept came from the right place of trying to keep everyone as safe as possible but Biden and other dems put themselves at a huge disadvantage by stopping and giving Trump/GOP the run.

cause it's a campaign thing. it's illegal to use the white house. even though trump basically did it a few nights ago.

it's looks so cheap. they really have no money left.

It's not that they've no money. It's that they've been told not to spend a penny.

Between free car parks for pressers.

To trying to get free lawyer representation on twitter.

    To logging incomplete court requests.

To begging people for money on email and Twitter.

He's stringing it out. Spending no money and trying to get in money as much as he can from gormless tools.

    The art of the cult.

Every Trump or Trump Team presser since the election has been an utter comedy show. I mean, many were before the election as well, but they've now hit 100 percent consistency. It's amazing Trump supporters can defend this with a straight face.

As much as we joke about it and can't believe that these idiots are claiming evidence for rigging and fraud...

When you think about it, America simply couldn't afford to have that imbecile representing their country any longer. As much as I doubt it, if I am being honest, it wouldn't surprise me.....100%

...or is that the 2nd bottle of beer I cracked open talkin?

America are losing Trump, but the GOP are stronger than ever.

They have the supreme court, countless judicial appointments, an extremely politicised base who have been conditioned to believe almost anything, and are likely to retain the senate,so they can block Biden from doing anything meaningful for the next 2 years while constantly blaming him for the deficit, and the collapsing economy, and the coronavirus deaths, and immigration, and crime and everything else they can think of.

The Dems can neuter the GOP, they have the tools at their disposal, to pack the courts, to grant statehood to Washington DC and Puerto Rico, for example, but the DNC don't tend to take these opportunities to take advantage.
Biden's rhetoric of uniting the population is going to prove to be extremely naive and in 2 years time when the next mid terms are held, It's going to be just as tense and divided as it is today.

Yeah.. One question was do you have evidence for that, to which she replied, well how could we?

It's just another hunter Biden thing to start stupid rumours and then when the media are like, we'll that's a stupid made up story, they can then point at the media and say BIAS!!

And is the only thing that ever is brought to these kind of threads from these people too. Even the feedback thread on this forum is bias, bias, bias.

    Media bias. Yawn.

There's nothing coming out though! Accusations do not mean evidence. They can make all the claims they want but unless they show even a shred of evidence then its just sour grapes from the losing team.
