so its alright for internal (to the US) sources to attempt to influence the public?

    Correct.

But every country will also have their own regulations on how much an individual can donate towards political parties and how all those amounts need to be declared. A Russian company/ individual funding a US political party and their advertising, or using the likes of Cambridge Analitica to target people with specific disinformation advertising campaigns is not legal.

Do you think that there should be a border wall to deter illegal immigration?

Trump doesn't since he built so little new wall.

So the answer seems to be that a wall isn't that important.

Whilst there is no wall between Mexico and US, the opposite direction is also true. Yet, there doesn't seem to be the same issue. Why is that?

Thanks for that but I was asking the other poster if he believes in the use of walls for border crossing control.

so there was a wall previously? if it dont work, i wonder why its there in the 1st place?

Do you genuinely know nothing about america beyond the words in whatever trump says or are you pretending to know nothing?

The USA only gave Pfizer a promise to buy $1.95bn worth of the vaccine if it passed trials and was successful. Pfizer were not part of operation Warp Speed, Pfizer took on all risk of developing the drug and only received funding from the German Government. Trump as usual is a liar, a needless lie that just poisons the well of Pfizers good will!

Did Pfizer receive 1.95 billion dollars from Operation Warp Speed? If so, how in the name of bejaysus did that not help them develop the vaccine?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Warp_Speed

"Operation Warp Speed is a public–private partnership, initiated by the Trump administration, to facilitate and accelerate the development, manufacturing, and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics."

No. The link you posted even stated this.

No they received a promise to buy Vaccine if development was successful, they assumed all risk themselves and took no money from the USA to fund development.

The battle for Georgia is going to be absolutely brutal. I wonder if some of these seemingly frivolous lawsuits Trump is instigating (in other states, I know) are partly preparation

Trump needs to flip 3 states PA, AZ and GA, to his side, in order to win. It is next to impossible to see this happening the Biden margins are as follows:

PA - 63K (outside of recount range)
    AZ - 10K
    GA - 14K

Do you think that there should be a border wall to deter illegal immigration?

Do you think the billions spent by the trump administration on replacing the current wall was money well spent?

A lot of the border has no wall or fence at all, do you think they should spend billions adding fencing and walls to those locations?

Majority of immigration happens across border crossing with roads, should a wall be erected over the road?

What do you believe the correct mix of patrol/fence/wall should be on the US border? Is it mostly wall as trump has done (and failed) or something else?

Do you think that children should be separated from their parents?

I think the trump administration spending billions on walls was really dumb, like one of the stupidest wastes of money in a country that already wastes a lot off money on stupid things, and much more could be achieved at much less cost by engaging properly with Mexico, working out a bipartisan immigration strategy, and having fencing and patrols in place.

It was always the message of building the wall, rather than doing anything about immigration.

There was no immigration reform, no aid or assistance to go to the areas to prevent them from needing to leave. You could tell that everytime it was politically convenient, FOX would bang on about the caravans coming.

Obama's manner of dealing with immigration worked.

All the facts and figures supplied by Trump were lies.

Ffs - if building the wall was so important why, when Banon was lifted for scamming people donating to it, was Trump not slating him?

It is all a big con.

    Build the wall!
    Mexico will pay for it!

All absolute paranoia inspiring distraction nonsense.

Absolutely brazen lying at this stage. Also, I would think the anti-vaxxers would lean towards him although I've no evidence to back that up. But look to Gemma and her lot and they are definitely on his side. So he is probably losing a percentage of support hailing vaccinations.

Trump rallies today will feature the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys. Interesting times.

He won the election and created a vaccine.

Time for the clown to just fúck off to one of his golf clubs, it's getting very boring.

Sky News showed him leaving the White House just now, they don't know where he's going. He might be heading to rile up the people marching in support of him today in DC. Or just golfing again.

It wasn't really a landslide because some of the states were still quite close, especially certain states such as Wisconsin where I think the most conservative poll gave him a 5 point lead, but he only won it by less than one percentage point. And while Joe Biden came in with the most votes ever for a presidential candidate, Trump came in with the second most.

Point being that if we call Biden's victory a landslide, it implies that the election was a strong repudiation of Trump and that invites complacency, and complacency is exactly what got Trump elected in 2016. So, if you're anti-Trump, and opposed to his brand of divisive, hateful and immature populist politics, complacent is exactly what you don't want to be, because that shít is waiting in the wings or gaining power all over the western world.

Your missing the point. Trump won by the same electoral college margin in 2016, and called it a landslide, ignoring the fact that he lost the popular vote.
This time, Biden picked up the Electoral college win, and increased the % margin in the popular vote from Hillary's 1% majoroty in 2016 (48% vs Trumps 47%) to 3.5% in 2020.

So same electoral college win, maintained popular vote win, increased % of popular vote and the fact that Trump called his win in 2016 a landslide, ipso facto, this was a landlside win for Biden in 2020.

I meant the Senate runoffs. The national apparatus of both parties will be focussed on just one state. It'll be tense

It will be, it's all about getting out the vote, and it will potentially change the shape and impact of a Biden Presidency drastically. Hopefully the Dems can win both seats and be in a position to legislate effectively, otherwise it will simply be a case of Moscow Mitch stonewalling everything Biden tries to do, and everyone Biden tries to appoint.

Looking at the crowds at the march and they're unintentionally socially distancing due to lack of crowds.... :D But some fine demonstrations of GOP and their role in the performance arts.

    Talk about avoiding a question

The EU border wall at Melilla is of a scale that Trump could only wet dream about.

Do you have an issue with this wall?

It's a landslide win if you are an imbecile like Trump.
Why do you want to be like Trump? That's what you are doing.
