Sure. Still better than Pence by a country mile.

    Trump's are:

Trump is going to mix a big dose of denial into each of those stages.

You're floundering a bit when you're claiming Trump still has a chance. They haven't provided evidence and his legal team has resigned.

What has Pence done that could be worse than that?

Some people really need to raise their standards higher.

Trump seems to think that him conceding or not has any bearing on the result. The loser conceeding is nothing but a mature and polite norm, but it doesn't much matter in the long run. Sure it makes things a bit trickier in terms of hitting the ground running for Biden, but then Trump seemingly hadn't a clue when he actually took over (it can very much be argued that that is very much still the case) so in that respect Biden is well placed.

Yeah like what handover would he get from Trump?

I wonder will any Trump supporters come out and say these are not the actions of a leader. He is not even bothering with the day to day of the job anymore in the middle of a health and economic crisis.

How people can think this man embodies any kind of strength is beyond me.

Why does anyone think that Trump conceding means sh*t?

He's currently President, great. But the inauguration will happen whether he likes it or not. And as soon as it does, the lads around him who protect him (like the secret service) will then work for Biden. What makes you think he won't be dragged out by his newly white hair?

Ye are all crazy calling Trump supporters racist, inbred uneducated thugs. Lots of Trump supporters are well educated professional people of all different nationalities. There are extremes on both sides. People are fed up being told by the media what to think and are only told one side of a story depending on which channel you watch.

You cannot say coloured people but you can say people of colour. Most people don't even see colour, if you are an idiot you are an idiot regardless of your skin colour. Who is the word police? What is offensive? who decides?

It's simple don't resist arrest and you won't be killed. Are there bad cops? absolutely but the majority are honest decent people. People have to take responsibility for their actions.

Don’t resist arrest and you won’t be killed, that must be the dumbest thing I’ve read here in a long time and that’s saying something.

Think it's more important to enable a smooth transition at this stage. I just don't expect it'll be smooth.

The last time the word racist was even used in this thread was over 650 posts ago, and even then it wasn't to call his supporters racist.

    Try harder.

    Hear hear!!!! Bravo.

Trump should start the transition process of power to President-Elect Biden.
The killers of Breonna Taylor should be put on trial.
Roger Stone should go to prison to serve the time he was sentenced to.

Or, like the rest of the conservatives, do you mean 'coloured people' and liberals should take responsibility for their actions, but not conservatives? And Fox News can continue broadcasting opinion pieces such as those from Tucker Carlson and Jessie Waters which have had me rubbing my eyes wondering 'what the fcuk are they talking about?' while CNN and the Washington Post should change their tune. Seriously, get a grip.

If he lost he lost, but this thing of preventing even an independent review of the counting process stinks. The whole mail in ballot process is open to far too much possibility of fraud for no one to independently investigate it. It's a messy process, maybe ballots were counted correctly, but no one knows if they were actual votes, or just genuine ballots put into the mix to make up the numbers needed to win.

Pence was head of the pandemic response team, even just with Trump's rallies alone they're responsible for 30k+ cases and over 650 deaths, Pence could've prevented that alone

There is zero evidence of the need for an independent review other than the B*tch in the White House refusing to accept the result.

Trump specifically told his people not to use mail in votes. Repeatedly. Bernie Sanders alluded to this playing out exactly as has occurred and pointed out that Trump would likely be ahead until the mail ins were counted. Trump knew this as well and tried to scupper mail in with his lackey put in place in the USPS to try to inhibit delivery.

In 2016, HC conceded with a much smaller margin in a single state than Trump is experiencing in several states. In 2000, Gore eventually conceded after Jeb Bushes Florida went to George who won by a margin of only a couple hundred votes after several thousand votes were thrown out by a republican led court.

I'm loving living in the middle of this historically very significant time but have 2 words for anyone still suggesting Trump is right to demand investigations. The second one is Off, you can guess the first.

    Their citations for that data...

Data sources: * Education data: https://www.ers.usda.gov/data-products/county-level-data-sets/download-data/ * Voting data (updated today): https://www.kaggle.com/unanimad/us-election-2020

Tools used: * R (ggplot2, dplyr, ggthemes, libraries) * Adobe Illustrator for adding campaign logos

What are the points? * Each point is a county

How do you calculate the voter orientation? * It's essentially just the percentage of voters favoring one candidate over the other. * 100*(#Biden votes - #Trump votes)/(#total votes)
