Here's something for Trump supporters to not give a **** about while pretending they are about election integrity - Georgia's Republican Secretary of State is saying that fellow republican a are asking him to wipe fully legal and valid votes off the register.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/brad-raffensperger-georgia-vote/2020/11/16/6b6cb2f4-283e-11eb-8fa2-06e7cbb145c0_story.html

I would be very interested to see what role their Governor (Kemp) has in this, given Georgias recent history of magically disappearing ballots in congressional and gubernatorial elections.

Right, but these claims have all but been thrown out on many occasions as has been documented in this thread previously. Problems with voting machines have also been discounted.

Just because trump kicks and screams and says it's so doesn't mean it is.

Then you have nothing to worry about, there is plenty of evidence that all is not well, 2,600 uncounted Trump ballots have just been discovered in Georgia. mmm strange that, in the "most secure election in history". Yeah right.

Look, Trump more than likely wont win but I want to see more problems with the election be shown and rectified.

As I said, nobody is asking this. It is an impossibility if they were fully legal and valid votes.

Yep. These kind of things won't change the outcome but they highlight the need to have the votes and the counting processes reviewed.

Looking forward to you guys supporting voting practices being reviewed nationwide. Something Republicans, unsurprisingly, have largely been resistant to up until the current situation where their guy lost and didn't have a brother in a key state to help him out.

    Access to voting in Georgia
The clogged polling locations in metro Atlanta reflect an underlying pattern: the number of places to vote has shrunk statewide, with little recourse. Although the reduction in polling places has taken place across racial lines, it has primarily caused long lines in nonwhite neighborhoods where voter registration has surged and more residents cast ballots in person on Election Day. The pruning of polling places started long before the pandemic, which has discouraged people from voting in person.

    Limited Ballot Boxes in Texas
Directives from Ohio secretary of state, Frank LaRose, and Texas governor, Greg Abbott – both Republicans – limit drop boxes to one per county. In Harris county, Texas, home to Houston, that’s one box for 4.7 million people. For the 228,000 residents in more sparse Mahoning county, a single drop box could result in a lengthy trip to the board of elections. In stark contrast, for the 2.3 million residents of King county in greater Seattle, there are 73 24-hour drop boxes within easy reach of voters.

    Voting issues in North Carolina
North Carolina -- where early in-person voting began Thursday, with long lines around the state -- has been at the center of partisan fights over voting in recent years. A law requiring voters bring government-issued ID to the polls is tied up in court. For the past few years, racial gerrymandering was in the national spotlight when the congressional maps drawn by the Republican-led legislature were in question. Those maps were thrown out after a state court ruling in 2019.

I have a non-partisan perspective on this. I would assume you do as well.
Review them all if needed and let the chips fall where they may.

I don't know how any Trump fan could defend a tweet as embarrassing as this.
    He really is a degenerate.

It's another admission that he has lost the election.
Wouldn't be so desperate for acknowledgement if he thought he was going to be staying on.

It's an acceptance that he is going to have to leave the Whitehouse. I'm his mind, it's not an acceptance he lost the election. It will never be accepted.

Why do you call them "Trump ballots", as if someone had nefariously hidden ballots that had Trump marked on them?

Not all 2,600 were for Trump but they were ballots in a county with a Trump lean so they skewed towards Trump, by about 800. The way you phrase it suggest you either heard about it on MAGA Twitter or want to make it sound more nefarious yourself.

All very mundane human error and the system seems robust enough to cope with it:

    False.
Trump will do everything within the law to disqualify any and all "non-legal ballots", There is no way to disqualify legal ballots, That is BS. What Trumps legal team are doing is finding irregularities, Ballots that were missing important information like date, signature and so on that would normally disqualify them but it seems that they might have been counted. There is also problems with the machines that counted the ballots giving Trump votes to Biden. Not all the states have finished counting and there are a few that are recounting ballots so it is not over until the next president has been officially decided inn December.
Not according to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a fellow Republican: "Graham also asked whether Raffensperger had the power to toss all mail ballots in counties found to have higher rates of nonmatching signatures, Raffensperger said." https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2020/11/lindsey-graham-pressured-georgia-to-toss-legal-ballots.html

    https://twitter.com/CNN/status/1328529326212608001

I've also heard his legal team argue that if there isn't 100% guaranteed of security on voting machines than all votes should be nulled. They are always trying to disenfranchise large portions of the US population, you know which ones, by making it harder for them to vote. Now they are actually trying to destroy their vote.

I know it doesn't matter in the scheme of things, but I'm enjoying watching the popular vote margin between Biden and Trump grow larger. New York state is still only at 84% counted with the NYC area at around 60-75% counted, with several of them currently going for Biden in the 80% range. New Jersey's NYC suburbs also have a fair amount of votes left to count. Biden's going to hit 80 million votes and win the popular vote at close to 52%, with an eventual 7-8 million spread between them.

The joke's on him - all his tweets are archived forever by the US Government, hell, they'll even build him a library to store all his false quotes in.

People will still be laughing at him centuries from now.

So the secretary of state for Georgia (a Republican) didn't say what I just linked to him saying? It's right there in the link you quoted, with names named by him.

"Hate Crimes Under Trump Surged Nearly 20 Percent."
Hate crimes have surged nearly 20 percent during the administration of President Donald Trump, according to a new FBI report on hate crime statistics. The report also shows that hate-motivated murders, largely committed by white supremacists, spiked to their highest number in 28 years

Lol, but this is how narcissistic types do actually think.. he might accept leaving the WH is necessary, but everyone else will be blamed. I'm sure he actually believes there is a fraud and even it cannot be proven, the judiciary will also be fraudulent etc.

Oh I know. I just like it that every day he's losing court battles and losing ground in the popular vote. I'm an American and I'm petty.

RTE’s Brian O Donovan reporting from the US on the election is zilch on content and big on performance . What a waste of rush tax payers money . He never reports on what is still happening in states that there is still a ‘problem’ with, which ones are recounting, how all this impacts on the college votes that Biden definitely has in the bag, etc, etc.
I can get all of his utterances he reports on by following the relevant threads on BOARDS

but, but, but something something socialism, communism, Venezuela, death panels. Stephen Hawking was British he'd have been euthanised by universal healthcare.
    I saw that tweet earlier.
Quite stunning isn't it in the USA in 2020 with everything going on as you say in terms of the conversation around socialism etc.

That's ok though - It's "Charity" not "Socialism".

    Or something.

Reasonable people see it as holding people to account.
What do you think these lists will be used for? In what context will they be used?
What in your opinion will these staffers/admins/etc be held to account for?

Let's say Trump manages to win in court, can they then put you on an accountability list for later use? What use?

Trump fans keep saying but he didn't start a war..

He is doing his best to rectify that seemingly!

held to account for any crimes that have been committed. That is what people are usually held to account for. Knowing trump there have been many and anybody that aided and abetted him should also be held to account. Do you not agree with that?

I hope it doesn't happen, it'd be a shame to start a war now.

There are a lot of "officials said" but no names. Are NYT protecting official sources?

If crimes have been committed then regular process will kick in, or should have already kicked in.

“Every Administration staffer, campaign staffer, bundler, lawyer who represented them — everyone.” they all did crimes according to you?
