    Say what?

Just a load of nonsense being spouted at the Arizona State Legislature Hearing on Election Fraud... Their 'experts' are doing their best to cast more doubt over the vote.

Isn't this just a Rudi press conference and nothing official as before where trump rang it in?

Basically. Loud clapping every time some lie is spouted in favour of Fuhrer Trump. No objective questioning. All Pro Trump.

Are they trying to establish some kind of alternative court for their alternative facts?

The other Q conspiracy doing the rounds on Twitter is that Biden didn't hurt his ankle.

The boot is to hide the electronic tag he is now wearing after he handed himself in to avoid execution at a military court overseen by Trump.

Trump is rounding up the global baby eating cabal and he has not been seen as he at a secret base in Greenland overseeing trials.

Like him loosing in court, it is all part of the "plan".

The theory on "Team Trump" is that if they get to the Supreme Court then "Trumps guys" on the court will do him a solid and award the election to him.

A few problems with that though.
    • That's not how the Supreme Court works
    • It's also not how the entire system of Law works in the US

To get to the Supreme court , they have to have a legal argument about a decision made by a lower court . So , for example they might be able to appeal the recent Federal court hearing that slapped them down really hard (a judgment delivered by 3 Republican Judges and authored by a Trump appointee), but it can only be about where they think that the lower court made an error in Law.

However , the Appeal would only be to rescind the rejection of the Court case , it wouldn't change the decision - At the absolute best the SCOTUS could overrule the Federal court decision , which would only send the case back down to the lower court for review again.

Trump keeps saying that they have all this evidence that they want to bring to the Supreme court - Which displays a truly staggering level of total ignorance of how the entire Judicial system in the US works.

They cannot introduce new evidence in the SCOTUS - They can only argue legal technicalities and interpretations of the evidence already submitted.

They have submitted ZERO evidence of Fraud and even if they had it (they don't) they can't bring it up in the Supreme court.

    TL;DR

Trump has lost , he has NOTHING and knows it , but he's building a media narrative that says "We have all this evidence to prove the massive fraud , but we are being denied our day in Court by the *Deep State*".

That narrative gives him two things - A way to keep grifting cash off his gullible supporters for "the fight" and a way to allow his narcissistic mind to never have to accept that he got beaten like a drum by a 78 year old journey-man politician that barely campaigned..

also their idea that the SC judges will rule anything in trump's favour simply because he's trump is ridiculous. yes they are majority right leaning, and some of them nominated by trump, but they are very qualified and intelligent legal minds with reputations of themselves and the SC to uphold. they also can't be fired by trump or any of his ghouls. they have nothing to gain by giving him a stupid decision, and everything to lose.

As expected noise from trump includes going to court to have it overturned.

    Makes me think of Futurama:

"I'll make my own judicial system...with blackjack...and hookers! You know what...forget the blackjack (a wise move if my history with casinos is anything to go by) and the hookers....oh no, not them again.....Rudy, get my chequebook!"

They'd be screwed if they had some secret dirt, no matter what. It would either by outed by the blackmailer or by the eventual investigation of the judge if they made such a transparently egregious ruling that it invited suspicion of their integrity.

I'm just sick of people defending a poster acting like Trump and his cronies.

Attacking me as if I'm a liar is despicable behaviour.

I'll continue to pull up anybody telling lies or posting unsubstantiated rumours and making up nicknames.

Please don't use this phrase over and over again. It's driving me mad.

    From the article
“I assume the power of the pardon is absolute and that he should be able to pardon anybody that he wants to?” Hannity added.

“It is absolute it’s in the Constitution,” Powell confirmed, adding a caveat that “I don’t know about his authority to pardon himself.”

But she quickly added that such an act of self-exoneration for Trump and his family “should not be necessary.”

That’s because Trump, she claimed in her fanciful version of events, is “going to get another four years in office to finish the job he started.” She then went to list more baseless charges about “massive” election fraud.

Just staggering BS out of the pair of them. Any conservative who thinks for a second that the Trump administration and the people who surround it aren't a stain on esteem with which the US has previously been held needs to have a good long hard think about what is they are defending.

It is unsurprising, but still somewhat annoying that so many of them who were so vocal up to a month ago have crawled back under their various rocks to wait for the time when they think it is appropriate to start using the latest idiot level catch phrase as 'Law and Order' was this time around.

    My patented irony-meter has exploded

Trumps behaviour since the election has been pretty close to perfect for those of us who have spent 5 years now nearly waiting for the full extent of his ineptitude and selfishness to be turned on his previous allies. Those same allies who pontificated about the respect demanded for the office of the President.

I'm under no illusions that those who voted for him as recently as a month ago have opened their eyes but the argument is completely finished as to how unsuitable he was for the role.

What's the craic about New York? Only 86% completion despite only a week to go to the certification deadline? Will they definitely be done on time or is a disaster on the horizon?

Doesn't really matter when the GOP would vote them in regardless and just claim "boys will be boys".

And to just prove my point..
President Trump has raised about $170 million since Election Day as his campaign operation has continued to aggressively solicit donations with hyped-up appeals that have funded his fruitless attempts to overturn the election and that have seeded his post-presidential political ambitions, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The money, much of which was raised in the first week after the election, according to the person, has arrived as Mr. Trump has made false claims about fraud and sought to undermine public confidence in the legitimacy of President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory.

Instead of slowing down after the election, Mr. Trump’s campaign has ratcheted up its volume of email solicitations for cash, telling supporters that money was needed for an “Election Defense Fund.”

In reality, the fine print shows that the first 75 percent of every contribution currently goes to a new political action committee that Mr. Trump set up in mid-November, Save America, which can be used to fund his political activities going forward, including staff and travel. The other 25 percent of each donation is directed to the Republican National Committee.

A donor has to give $5,000 to Mr. Trump’s new PAC before any funds go to his recount account.
