Can charges be brought against individuals or groups for continually wasting hours of court time, I wonder?

Are you kidding? Trump intends to pardon anyone who is guilty of defrauding the court, etc

FYI: the “laches” they mention refers to laches doctrine, tldr the idea you have a reasonable but limited time to file a genuine grievance. In this case, the laches would be that the complaints about the legality of state election changes only came after the winner of the election was clearly known - over a month after, and not when the changes were made, well before the election.

After trump being nominated as a possible winner, he loses *again* to Joe and Kamala

I get the feeling that Trump will be far more annoyed by this, than with the election result.

Being on magazine covers seems to matter a lot to the guy :P

Joe Biden and harris have been named as Time person of the year.
The article mentions that Biden is the oldest presidential nominee and harrris is part African American.
It isn't clear if this is the reason why they won?

Other notable mentions were people who protested alongside blm.

    Edit: They won because

The incoming US leaders won the honour for "changing the American story, for showing that the forces of empathy are greater than the furies of division, and for sharing a vision of healing in a grieving world", Time's editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal said.

‘Your one’, ‘yer wan’ Harris. Why refer to her like that when you know her name? So childish.

We should defend our way of life to an extent that any attempt on it is crushed, so that any adversary will never make such an attempt in the future.

They won because they got most votes. It’s their theme I think.

Whoever wins the US Presidential election is odds on to be Time person of the year.

Since 1992 who won has been person of the year except Clinton in 1996.

Yes that's true. It's almost tradition. Does the incoming vp usually also win?

Not as far as I'm aware, as pointed out in the post you quoted the judge could hold them in content.

I think Trump is the only one in that state #DaiperDon

Maybe a bit of tokenism for the year that's in it?

Maybe a bit of tokenism for the year that's in it?

    Why would you say that?

    First female VP.
First Person of Colour elected VP.
Part of the ticket to win the most votes in any Presidential Election ever.
Landslide victory against an incumbent President which is very rare, only 10 have lost in their re-election campaign.

I'm sure there's more that I could list those are just off the top of my head.

I would say that she has been far more involved than most VPs who are normally picked for safety. Kamala was always going to get more attention than the usual choice and so was a lot up front and center.

Definitely, she was much more visible on the campaign trail than previous VP candidates.

"Bitter white man sees issue with woman achieving the place of first woman ever as VP".

How's that for a front page?

Seemed more visible than Pence too, to me anyway, but then Trump did tend to hog the limelight.

He called her your one Harris before going back to edit it. It’s really bothering him that she won an absolute nothing award.

The incoming VP isn't usually breaking taboos and being the fitst in many categories.

I get you don't like her, but you have to accept the magnitude of the achievement she has just done.

1st female VP, who happens to be a woman of colour. Parents are immigrants.

she deserves it more than Biden, tbh. Although Biden does deserve it for the way he carried out his campaign. Putting aside the usual political campaigning because he put the health and welfare of fellow Americans before his own desire. Make no mistake about it, Biden came under huge pressure, both from Trump and the GOP but also within his won party, that he needed to get out.

Remember that one of the lessons for HC was her failure to campaign in a few key states.

That Biden was not only able to win, but win by such a clear and resounding victory (7m votes I think) deserves credit and acknowledgment.

Speaking of which; where has Mike gone?

Thought he'd be lock step behind Don in his fraud claims.

    He's disappeared completely.
