You don't think there is something fishy about Biden getting the most votes of any president in all of American history? Joe freakin' Biden? lol
Trump is one of the most divisive presidents in history so yeah, I see nothing strange about the Dems being energised to vote him out regardless of their candidate.

This is the consequence of leading only the people who elected you and framing the other side as the enemy, you get this kind of turnout from the other side. Remember what Trumpers said about Hillary's 'basket of deplorables' gaffe?

Also again, evidence please. Trump getting trounced is not evidence or even grounds for suspicion

This is the bit I can’t figure out with Trump. Does he genuinely believe postal votes are flawed and know exactly how this would play out so he started the misinformation campaign months ago. Or is he just reacting now?

Is he now just trying to con people out of money to pay for a failed campaign or is he trying to fund a challenge to what he genuinely believes is an injustice?

He’s either an evil genius or a deranged lunatic.

    Just an evil dope.

Well, it's the highest turnout, so no. Even Trump as a good few votes more than he had last time.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

"You don't think there is something fishy about Trump getting the second most votes of any president in all of American history? Donald freakin' Trump? lol"

That makes the same amount of sense as your pointless post.

Trump is disliked by massive amounts of people would be my guess...best way to get rid of him...vote for his opponent... shock horror!

I think dog could have won it, such is the incompetence of Trump.

    And he's not even American!

So you think there was a grand voting conspiracy by the democrats to lose the senate, lose seats in the house and have biden nearly lose the presidential?

Do I think that it's "fishy" that the winner of an election got ~50.5% of the total vote?

No , not in the slightest , sounds about right to be honest.

The fact that it was the largest turn-out in History can be attributed to the most unpopular President in Modern History standing for re-election having overseen the deaths of almost a quarter of a million of his nations citizens , a significant percentage of which can be laid directly at his feet due to his utterly self-centred incompetence.

Do these look like the words of a man getting ready to concede?. He tweeted this about 10 minutes ago:

I figure he's keeping this up and sending emails for legal defense and he's not going to take the legal defenses.

The plan here is to string it out until the funding drops from these emails, the donations fall off. Then concede reluctantly.

It's all one massive grift. Money is the sole end currently as the presidency is lost.

    I take the first point.

But how could the legal experts say there is no valid legal case when the case is still ongoing and the democrats are ordered to comply with the ruling? Are we talking about different cases?
The Supreme Court has basically said "fine, you want to challenge these with some unspecified argument in the future, let's just make sure these ballots are kept to one side so we know how many there are."

The Court has said nothing about the merits of the case that Trump's legal team will be arguing.

The legal analysts I've heard have all said that the election rules were signed off by state legislatures, tested in state supreme courts in some cases, there's nothing particularly unusual about the rules and the US supreme court is extremely unlikely to over-rule a state supreme court in this case.

And a doofus like GWB got more than twice as many votes in 2004 as FDR did in his most successful election. Inexplicable.

I'd like to believe there is something more clever at play, but you give him too much credit.

And the fact check doesn't fact check correctly - in Pennsylvania, the key state there are no signature checks.

It also claims poll watchers were allowed observe the counts in both cities, which is itself false.

This is the problem with deferring to fact checks from biased organisations who seemingly have less information than any regular joe.

    Credit ? Clever ?

It's not clever he's just grifting supporters for money as far as a time until they stop giving.id be surprised if we don't see some rallies thrown in.

    Presidency is lost.

Grifting people's cash is all that's left.

I got your point, but it's beyond him.

His ego is so damaged he cannot handle the fact he is not going to win. There is absolutely no way he will come out and admit defeat. He will bankrupt himself attempting to prove otherwise. The people still stupid enough to donate are just even more collateral damage.

It's behaviour consistent with delusional thoughts or some personality disorders, not a grand plan of grifting.

Edit: this post was edited to remove the assertion that Trump has a mental illness. He has not been diagnosed with one.

An obese 74 year old who recently caught the corona, surely he’ll be dead by then?

Although his fans are so cultish they might just ask his corpse to run for office and simply replay old tweets and videos.

CNN were in one of the Phildelphia count centres last night. There were observers there, in close proximity to the counters, and the whole thing was being streamed. I’ve yet to see any evidence that observers weren’t allowed.

For those complaining about how long this is taking, worth bearing in mind the 2000 election decider between Bush and Gore took 35 days

    It's not a valid comparison.

The final count in Florida in 2000 left Bush ahead by a margin of 1,784 votes when the winner would win the Presidential election.

Pennsylvania is not close now, it's not going to end up being close when the remaining ballots are counted. We understand the property and nature of the remaining ballots and how they are likely to break. All that is left to decide in PA is the margin of Joe Biden's ultimate victory.

And, most importantly, even if Pennsylvania somehow flipped in a complete miracle Trump now needs a recount to overturn 7k+ votes in Georgia (which is again massively massively beyond possible) AND he needs to close a 30k gap in Arizona where he currently isn't running at the pace required to do so.

CALL THE RACE. The only reason it isn't being called is because the President is being irresponsible and anti democratic and is cowing the networks into doubting themselves for fear of kicking off some level of civil unrest.

Trump has lost. CALL THE RACE.

If it's false, why then did the lawyer for Trump when asked how many poll watchers they had respond with "It was a non-Zero number your honour".

They had poll watchers in all locations , they just wanted to be allowed have way more of them and to be allowed be right on top of the counters.

The case there has absolutely zero merit , not an iota.

Yeah with the position he took initially and then doubling down on it, he’ll never admit he lost. He’ll leave the White House reluctantly saying he’s been robbed but the establishment won’t back his fight against injustice.

    "Poll watchers" yeah

You mean code for thugs who want to harass, intimidate, abuse staff and obstruct the count.

The mob who showed up during the week were blocked from entering. But ballot observers with the correct credentials were allowed enter as could be clearly seen on CNN and other networks.
