mail in ballots require a signature and each signature is verified.

Eh that's easy when you know the signature, or can simply demand a signature from someone who is willing to give it. People who couldn't care less will gladly sign it for Mom.

What they never would do, and never have before is care enough to stand in the wind and rain for 5 hours to vote.

It's flawed, it's like mail in IQ tests, suddenly we're all Einstein :p .. because in the comfort of our own home, with no eyes, and no regulation ,we can do as we please to find the answer to the problem in front of us.

    All stupid bots as well.

England is one of the more accurate "countries" that they have used in that text, they at least have a national football team who play in the World Cup. Most of the tweets refer to them moving to the country of Alaska/ Texas/ Hawaii/ etc.

Yeah that seems like a flaw in the system, can it be expanded to influence things on a state and national level?

That type of situation would be more suited to local elections and even then it's a one family situation.

all mail in ballots require a signature and all signatures are verified.

if mom can forge the signatures of 4 other people then fair play to her. Every system of voting has inherent flaws.

Oh cop on to yourself, Trump has taken the piss out of anyone and everyone, he's lied, cheated, created absolute havoc with his rhetoric, has torn families apart and couldn't even build a wall, but you're worried about a message on a hat, that actually doesn't directly say anything about Trump, have a good look at yourself.

Don't forget the signature check doesn't happen in Pennsylvania. It could be one avenue of attack because it seems the court allowed certain things without them being passed in the legislature. All straws shall be clutched

Or like electronic voting - there is just no proper trail that can be watched all the way from person to count. There were plenty of people willing to bet their house on electronic voting (Ireland's ludicrously expensive electronic voting disaster springs to mind) and after one or two years of use it all collapsed because there is no way to regulate it or ensure its legitimacy.

You can choose to believe that Biden got by far the most votes of anyone else in the history of the presidential election and Trump got the second most, easily destroying the amount that won him it last time. You can choose to believe that people went out and voted more strongly than ever, despite being in the middle of the worst and most deadly pandemic in modern times and almost all the votes came in Biden. Vastly more than all the people who voted for Hillary. To vote for someone who has mixed up his wife and sister. But is it smart to believe it? No.

The truth is that election fraud happens a lot more often than would ever be admitted by people in western democracies. This is because the people must have faith that they have power, that their vote matters. In reality lots of shenanigans occur behind the scenes, and this time there was particular opportunity for it.

Not organized that's for sure. But history will show millions of first time voters, all voting on genuine ballots, and all rightly getting counted.
But there is no accountability for .. lets say Mom, who got 5 ballots in the mail. One for her, husband, two sons and daughter. Mom the only one who would ever vote in person, rest have no interest, and never did, and never will vote, couldn't careless about the whole crapfest that it is. But Mom used her 5 ballots, filled them all in, and threw them from her car window into a ballot box. Suddenly Biden has 5 votes this election, rather than one in a normal election where mom can't hide her husband, two sons and daughter in her purse while she goes to vote in person.
The system is flawed, while the count I believe is honest.

Why would a biden supporting mom be more inclined ot do that than a trump supporting one?

I think born has been over this, even for talks sake, the signatures were got in this scenario, it's not a scalable thing to effect things in any meaningful way, in Joe's word, PERIOD!

It is, it is very sad how unreliable elections in modern western "democracies" have become.

There was a woman on Sky news a little while back complaining about how Biden was going to give everyone free healthcare. Trumpist griping over public healthcare does my head in.

Firstly, 'socialised medicine' is such a weaselly term. By this definition, they already have socialism because they have socialised education, socialised police, socialised military, socialised libraries and socialised infrastructure such as roads, bridges and dams, not to mention socialised social security. There has to be a difference between taking tax money and investing into services which benefit the public and socialism, because the former is what almost every country in the world does, yet these things are not described as socialism except by reactionary right-wing idiots.

And then there's the 'Oh, well it'll cost too much in tax'. America has all the bomb money in the world, but when it comes to building things that actually benefit people domestically, they act like it just isn't economically feasible :pac: . Take some of the money used to blow up hospitals in other countries and use it to build some of your own. Also, tell drug companies to stop being sociopathic, profiteering pr*cks.

Why would a biden supporting mom be more inclined ot do that than a trump supporting one?

Or why would the mom not just give the kids a boot up the backside and drag them down to vote in the election and play their part in the future of the country rather than risk getting sent to jail for election fraud?

There is no way to verify electronic votes..

Yeah ok.. so you don't trust the banking system or any other system where security is key??

Practically every system that does anything of importance.
