if mom can forge the signatures of 4 other people then fair play to her. Every system of voting has inherent flaws.

The example isn't about forging signatures but the convenience.

We discussed it earlier in the thread.

I think it's a very contrived example of mass advantage.
Similarly to genuine cases of fraud, I'm sure it has happened but also similarly, I believe it's statistically irrelevant.

Or like electronic voting - there is just no proper trail that can be watched all the way from person to count. There were plenty of people willing to bet their house on electronic voting (Ireland's ludicrously expensive electronic voting disaster springs to mind) and after one or two years of use it all collapsed because there is no way to regulate it or ensure its legitimacy.

You can choose to believe that Biden got by far the most votes of anyone else in the history of the presidential election and Trump got the second most, easily destroying the amount that won him it last time. You can choose to believe that people went out and voted more strongly than ever, despite being in the middle of the worst and most deadly pandemic in modern times and almost all the votes came in Biden. Vastly more than all the people who voted for Hillary. To vote for someone who has mixed up his wife and sister. But is it smart to believe it? No.

The truth is that election fraud happens a lot more often than would ever be admitted by people in western democracies. This is because the people must have faith that they have power, that their vote matters. In reality lots of shenanigans occur behind the scenes, and this time there was particular opportunity for it.

Where were you when Mitch blocked not one, but 3 different Election Security bills?

Eh that's easy when you know the signature, or can simply demand a signature from someone who is willing to give it. People who couldn't care less will gladly sign it for Mom.

What they never would do, and never have before is care enough to stand in the wind and rain for 5 hours to vote.

It's flawed, it's like mail in IQ tests, suddenly we're all Einstein :p .. because in the comfort of our own home, with no eyes, and no regulation ,we can do as we please to find the answer to the problem in front of us.

    Good point.
When you look at the numbers something is definitely suspicious.

I mean, it makes sense that Biden got more votes than the deeply unpopular Clinton, but where did Trump magic up millions of extra votes vs 2016?
He even told his supporters to vote by both mail and in person.

It seems the polls were right on the money, but widespread republican vote fraud turned it into a close race.

There was a woman on Sky news a little while back complaining about how Biden was going to give everyone free healthcare. Trumpist griping over public healthcare does my head in.

Firstly, 'socialised medicine' is such a weaselly term. By this definition, they already have socialism because they have socialised education, socialised police, socialised military, socialised libraries and socialised infrastructure such as roads, bridges and dams, not to mention socialised social security. There has to be a difference between taking tax money and investing into services which benefit the public and socialism, because the former is what almost every country in the world does, yet these things are not described as socialism except by reactionary right-wing idiots.

And then there's the 'Oh, well it'll cost too much in tax'. America has all the bomb money in the world, but when it comes to building things that actually benefit people domestically, they act like it just isn't economically feasible :pac: . Take some of the money used to blow up hospitals in other countries and use it to build some of your own. Also, tell drug companies to stop being sociopathic, profiteering pr*cks.

**** has to be paid for. There will be no new drugs if big pharmas make no profit. Do you expect the world to be policed for free?

Yeah ok.. so you don't trust the banking system or any other system where security is key??

lol, the entire security world has admitted there is no way to verify electronic votes. Electronic money is different to a paper trail in voting. People can watch electronic money and make sure it's in the right place - you can't do the same thing with voting because people can be corrupt at any stage. Also if you're missing money you're going to cry afoul, but you can't know when your vote is "missing" or hasn't been counted. If you're so confident then why did they stop using it? Why do they say security won't allow it?

Read up on it, I find it confusing and non-intuitive myself but security experts all agree that electronic voting is not possible. You can't trust your first instincts on it which is what people did for electronic machine and/or online voting. They tried online voting in Japan and it doesn't work either and was abandoned.

Mail in voting was always supposed to be for a small fraction of people who couldn't leave their home but desperately wanted to vote. It was meant to be a nice gesture more than anything else. A small fraction of votes that could be properly looked after. Not this endless masses and masses of mail in votes that nobody could keep track of and take days to even count properly.

Unless they have proof of verifiable widespread fraud then no. And it looks like they have fook all evidence. The main whinge they have is about procedural issues in Philadelphia. Hardly evidence of mass voter fraud.

"oh, but Joe wore a one hat making fun of Trump, he's basically Hitler"

Not a chance. It's laughable and massively disrespectful to all those involved in the election process.

It's also completely naive to think such carry on can happen.

All that will happen is some lawyers will get a nice bonus and taxpayer will get shafted once again - financially as well as with the small case of continuing to ignore COVID while he goes off on this oddysey to massage his broken ego.

he would need solid evidence of something.

if he has 1 example is that enough? no idea.

    would doubt it TBH.

but yes, he could win in the courts if he can present evidence of some sort of a fraud. not really win is my understanding; but null and void the election.

in this hypothetical, what happens then does anyone know?

It is, it is very sad how unreliable elections in modern western "democracies" have become.

Still more reliable than Russian ones.

No. He hasn't presented any evidence and the few court cases he has already taken were thrown out for lack of evidence.

So to be clear you were perfectly happy for Trump to tear the country appart for four years and supported him for 4 more years, but now you are complaining about a simple joke.

Biden has been very restrained, you are complaining about a hat, when Trump isn't conceeding and is actively undermining the electorial prosesss.

Inciting the "zealots" and "fanatics" to even post nonsense about mammies committing voter fraud up and down the country.

It’s not gonna happen. Trump lost because he is a loser and his supporters fell for his con. They were conned by a loser.
