Asthma cured 🤷*♀️

Hi I developed asthma in 2000 after a bad chest infection. Was told yesterday in Beaumont hospital to stop all my meds (steriod inhalers and steriods) that I don't have asthma anymore. I haven't had a chest infection since March when I saw the consultant and he prescribed steriods and antibiotics. Feeling a bit nervous about just stopping everything. Has this happened to anyone else?
