Alexa light switch

Hi

Am looking for recommendations for an Alexa light switch to turn lights on want to go down the bulb way. Any help appreciated

May I ask why you don’t want to go down the bulb route?

It’s is the kids bedroom, big long desk shadows every where, bulbs not bright enough. So putting in a 6 bulb thing

I could look at WiFi gu10 bulbs but this would be a lot of work to group etc..

Hijacking and maybe helping out the OP at the same time. The switches require a neutral, some seem to do something with a capacitor and no neutral. I've a couple of 3 gang switches I want to replace, with multiple bulbs on one switch in somecases. Any recomendations? Is it a big job to get a neutral wired in?

Yeah, I’d forgotten about the neutral. That’s why I held off buying before. I was then looking for a battery operated switch - I could stick it on the wall anywhere. I don’t see any that look like a real light switch though.

Adding the neutral is easy upstairs if you’ve attic access. Downstairs may need an electrician, and maybe a tiny bit of local redecorating.
