Blocking fireplace

    I intend to block my fireplace before I have BER carried out,I have blocked flue with fibre glass insulation and I will seal fireplace opening with ply backed with 50mm polystyrene.I intend to install a 225mm hit and miss vent for air flow.Will this satisfy BER rules for a closed fireplace.
