Garda Recruitment - Age Limit to Change

    I read this week that it was found that the age limit for Garda intakes was ruled as discriminatory.

    What do people think will happen now? Will they have to lift it? My partner was told he couldn’t apply in the 2019 recruitment as he had just turned 36.

    Does anyone know if there are any other cases to be reviewed?

    It would be great for those over the age to have the opportunity.
