Just to confirm, have you attempted to resolve this with the mod in question? If so, what has been the response?

Yes, I have. I raised these issues with him/her but to no avail.

Even the lack of a title/OP heads up about the mod warning buried within the thread was ignored.

I did offer to delete the post in question if the warning was rescinded. I thought that would have been fair, but again it was ignored.

    Hi

I can look at this for you.

Can you please link to the post that you were infected for and also paste in this thread the pm conversation you had with the mod where you attempted to resolve the issue (or pm to me).

    Cheers

    Post in question.

    Moderator Note

Taking a swipe at other posters and ignoring a previous mod warning that discussing SF was off topic

    My first reply
I take it you are also going to give other posters who talk about FG and their 'shills' a warning?

    Also, where is this warning?
Custom has it, mod warnings are in the OP and in the title of the thread.
    Hi markodaly,

Firstly; The mod warning in question is here. You're here long enough to know that straying off topic attracts mod attention
    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/show...hp?p=115178318

Secondly; You should know, without having to be told, that discussing other users like that is not acceptable either.

Finally; I'm not discussing mod actions relating to other posters.

    Kind regards

    The second reply
The mod warning was two days ago, on post 3076, while my post was on 3556. It is a fast moving thread, over 3500 posts in less than 6 days.

I am sorry but I genuinely did not see this warning, normally mod warnings are attached to the title of the thread or/and in the OP. Clearly, this did not happen in this case, hence why I missed it.

    e.g.
    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/show...p?t=2058128631
    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/show...p?t=2058091617
    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/show...p?t=2058110080

    just to name a few.

I brought up the users in the context of their frequency of the post, as a rebuttal against shills. It is a fair rebuttal as I referenced actual evidence.

However, if you will withdraw the warning, I will delete the post and not discuss those users or SF again in this manner on this thread. After all, I genuinely did not see the warning.

    Mark.

    Hi markodaly

You are missing the point, whether or not you saw the mod warning about off topic posting - discussing posters in the manner that you did is not acceptable either. You took a screenshotof 3 usernames and in he context of discussing political shills stated all 3 are "SF supporters and voters". The implication was clear.

The number of posts a person makes in any given thread is not 'evidence' of anything.

    Kind regards

    My last reply
I see you have ignored my examples about the Mod warnings and lack of a heads up in the title and/or OP.

I am sorry, but I have to go to an admin on this.

I thought my offer was quite clear, generous and above board, but carding people for a mod warning, which was buried inside such a fast-moving thread and was posted two days ago is not in the spirit of boards.ie moderation.

Got no more PM's after that.

Sorry for the delay on this. I think there is enough here to give you the benefit of the doubt so I will get this lifted for you.
