Everyone talking about Rahm falling apart yesterday. JT's collapse has been far worse. Head went yesterday and he still hasn't recovered.
It's amazing when people call a level par round a collapse.

Is hole 3 the best hole on the front 9? For a short one it's tricky

    Comfortably
It’s supposedly almost exactly the same as the original McKenzie design

Wasn't obvious why smith got a drop there?

    Bad drive by DJ

This might be the testing patch in his round

  • Registered Users Posts: 164 ✭✭djr15

I reckon he didnt fancy the lie. and used the tyre mark rule to his advantage.

a wild guess on my behalf.

Big moment on 5 with DJ and Im both having missable par putts

  • Registered Users Posts: 164 ✭✭djr15

this wil be a real test for DJ.
Lead down to 1 shot now.

bit of heat oming from behind.

rory has piped one down the par 5 8th.
has been poor n the par 5s all week.

Took an age to hit it, really needs to be put on the clock on the greens, brutal slow.

No such rule per se. There is a model local rule for heavy traffic combined with wet conditions but would need to be a "deep rut".

More likely it was temporary water.

Lol, if you put DJ on the clock the whole field would be in the clock. He's certainly not a slow player

Great bounce back from DJ there
Roll it in and he will feel champion!

You mustn't watch much golf. Johnson is far from slow in the greens

    Brutal slow on the greens.

Nightmare on greens . This idea of caddy pointing at target doesn't feel right either.

If McGinley says bounce back ability one more time I’m turning off the golf.

He’s one of the slowest on the green.

    Fast everywhere else.

    And he does

He’s also got the fade back in his drive now
    Sungae cracked there
    Ancer looks gone
McIlroy just needs to look at the scoreboard and he’ll be gone

Cameron Smith looks erratic but he looks like the best challenger

Some performance by Kevin Na. 73 in round 1 after hitting all 18 greens but taking 39 putts!!!
