Been looking at few rainsuits since the weather has gone to crap. Any suggestions. Been told this is a good one https://www.thevisorshop.com/Mobile/en/RST-Waterproof-Rain-Suit-BlackGrey-0204/m-m-24660.aspx

Also wondering what are the sizes like? I wear a size large textile jacket so should I go for XL in the suit. Dont want a big baggy suit though

no idea, but one thing to remember. You want to be able to take if off easy and put it on easy. and you want to be able to move around. So next size up is best for these.

You wont be winning or being judged in fashion shows in the pissings of rain :) once off your back to your normal gear.

Actually just my jacket is XL so I should probably get an XXL rainsuit so

With over gear such as rain suits, hi viz vests etc. They often take into account that it will be worn on top of gear. Maybe look into it to see if this is the case.

Two piece can be much better for this reason, I had a one piece and needed up hardly ever using it because of the effort to get in and out of it

I'm with you on the 2 piece.

I agree on the two piece option.
    http://overlanders.ie.185-2-66-130.cp4.graphediahosting.com/product/scott-ergonomic-pro-dp-rain-jacket/
    Pants available as well.
    Pricey but worth it.
We were on a tour where it bucketed down.
    Completely dry in these.
    And very stretchy, & breathable

That looks and I'd say has the level of material of Aldi rain wear. That's mad money. But it has Scott on it ..

Would you believe, I have the Aldi gear as well, and they are completely different.

I got a one-piece almost two years ago. I haven't used it yet either, but it makes me feel prepared for anything!

I asked RST and a couple of other stores and they said they're already oversized for their size so I should order the XL, should be big enough

I use the Oxford two piece kit and it's great. Had it about 18 months now or so. Very good price too

I have the RST suit, its good but always found it let in water around the waist and groin. I should have gone up a size though, may be the reason.

I've the Richa Rain Warrior jacket and pants, and they're class. I've ridden in absolutely torrential downpours and they've held up fantastically.

I'd also go for a two piece over a one piece.

I've actually gone ahead and ordered a Richa set instead of the one piece after all the advice. Cheers for the advice folks

Very nice garments alright. I ordered a set - chuffed with the quality but I underestimated the sizing - they are pretty big!

So I have a pair of the trousers available in black and in size L - never worn, still in their packaging - €20 to a Boardsie.
