Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bad pitstop for Vettel, spin for Albon, podium for the 7 times World Champion

RP need to get Stroll in ASAP or they're gonna throw this away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,990 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

He's a chance of passing Albon.

Well, he's passed him now :D

Lewis 'how long can this tyre go for'

    Reply 'we don't know'

    :pac:

Verstappen can stay out longer as he has a fresher set because of the flat spots he had earlier. But does he have any fresh sets left?

I would say HAM is on for a win.

The writing was on the wall there for Albon. Red Bull should have read the warning signs when he lost touch with the RPs.

Completely their fault, but Albon will get the blame for it. They’re a toxic team.

FFS RP tell him the rest are flying around on fresh tyres and get him in the ****.

They should have, he will learn the hard way himself now.

If Stroll can't clear Verstappen quickly RP may well have thrown this away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,884 ✭✭✭Tzardine

Merc need to put BOT on slicks to see how they perform.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,686 ✭✭✭Charlie-Bravo

Yes, we need a car on slicks to tell us if it'll work.

And it’s the weekly point Stroll begins to run out of talent

They already have. Stroll is miles behind and Perez is losing touch with Hamilton as well.

There's going to be a safety car that allows Hamilton to pit and hold the lead.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭skipper_G

Stroll went deep and now both Ferraris are past him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,880 ✭✭✭✭klose

    Stroll is cooked?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,990 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

    Go on Seb!

Racing Point haven't covered themselves in glory with this strategy
And now they're ruing Perez's race too

They might tell BOT to take one for the team.

Constructors is done. Drivers title done. BOT around the end of the pack.

Nothing to lose, get it done.

Not sure if they have thrown it away on reflection, neither RP can do anything in these conditions whether on new or old inters.

Ooooh McClaren suggesting a bit of rain coming. Pppppoplllllllleeeeeeeaaaassssseeeeee!

That should be in for Stroll

    Leclerc now looking quick

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Be insane if LeClerc wins this... was in 15th earlier.

Good recovery from VER. Could end up on the second step.

Save him some face if they did as Lewis is going to lap him soon after his latest spin.

Bottas spins AGAIN. And Hamilton to lap him. That’s ****in embarrassing.

    Bottas doing doughnuts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,990 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

Lewis coming up to lap Bottas. Please don't let there be a SC or VSC

I'm happy to jump on the teams but what are they meant to do? Perez has no pace on worn inters, Stroll has no pace on brand new inters.

    Hamilton lapping Bottas
The defining moment of his Mercedes career.

Who had Grosjean crashing to complete their GP bingo?

    Hamilton, is it getting darker?

Engineer, yes Lewis it’s getting darker.

Also engineer, puts down team radio, Lewis is very sharp today.....idiot.

Hamilton a pitstop ahead of all but Perez now. Game over

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,977 ✭✭✭TheDoctor

Time to roll out the usual phrases

Stroll has run out of talent

    Bottas is a pity

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,884 ✭✭✭Tzardine

    Thats awkward.

In a race that BOT needed to beat HAM, he gets a blue flag telling him to get out of the way as he is lapped.

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

Completely out of the blue, LeClerc has got past Verstappen.

LeClerc has a shot at winning this.

    Much younger tyres

Depends how much he can close the gap as Lewis still has a free pitstop over him as it stands.

    Good race from Sainz

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Lewis should really pit now to cover LeClerc

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭skipper_G

Bottas showing how great he is by not moving over for the blue flags, that'll show Lewis who's boss

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,295 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Bottas looks like he will come to a stop soon.

Bottas has never been a Championship contender from the moment Rosberg retired. Even those times he tells his critics where to go.

Great driving from Hamilton and Leclerc BUT (:pac:) they tyres are just suck a wildcard. RP with 0 pace on inters whether new or worn, Hamilton's worn inters are excellent while other cars can do nothing without the edge on the new ones. Leclerc with no pace earlier but then the conditions change and he's half a dozen seconds quicker than anyone else. Red Bull 4 seconds a lap quicker than the field then suddenly getting passed by a McLaren.
