Soundbar Question

    Hi all

Not sure if I’m in the right place but appreciate any advice on this silly question.

I have a soundbar but for some reason the background noises (bombs exploding, action sequences etc) can be loud; but when people are speaking it’s low.

It’s normally fine - as we don’t watch that much tv but if I sit down to watch a film in the evening I find myself turning up the sound to hear what’s going on then having to turn it down cos it feels like a tank is driving through the room.

I’m exaggerating of course. But I hope the question makes sense and that someone can guide on the issue. There is a woofer but I never turn it on.

    I have this one

    Thanks all

Have you got surround mode on?

Yes I do. What would that do?

I’ve also just turned up the treble and down the bass.

    Thanks for advice.

Has the TV got a night mode in the audio settings?

I'd turn surround mode off to see if it helps

    Thanks. Did that as well.

    Seems better with those adjustments.

What about the treble and bass. Any suggestion?

Start with right in the middle for each, and then adjust to suit. Don't have the bass too high, and have the treble slightly higher than the bass
