Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi I am looking to buy a 50 in smart TV I have just cancelled my Sky subscription. I really only use the free to air channels and I have Netflix and I like to watch BBC also.
We will not be gaming or anything like that possibly some YouTube and a few other apps.
We do have good wifi. I am looking for something that is simple to use with one remote if possible.
I have another tv in the kitchen which has cromecast but I will want RTÉ on that. How do I go about that.
What would be a good buy for me .
Also I have seen things like magic remote advertised what is that ?
Can I use my current satellite dish with the new TV .
    Thanks

You will need an aerial for RTE/Saorview. The Walker, Nordmende and Toshiba tv's have satellite built-in on many models, with all the channels on one list, with apps for Netflix, YouTube and RTÉ player on smart models. Many LG tv's have similar but you have to switch between Saorview and Satellite the magic remote makes it a bit easier and dedicated buttons for apps, some buttons can be programmed.
