Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's Ronnie against Thep innit Dave?

Terrible miss by robbo. Just as i thought he might be building some momentum, judd still looks a bit off.

    Pockets are huge

    Good entertainment

After an early finish this afternoon this could go on past 11 tonight

Missed black off the spot gets Judd off the hook.

Always a fan of the lefties since I am one meself,
    so I'm enjoying this.
Lots of mistakes by both players
    but makes it more entertaining.

Hendry not buying Taylor's pressure excuse for robbos missed black and rightly so. Chance to really turn the screw and he fluffed it. Another chance now though, judd not picking up here at all.

When the crowds return apparently. That seems to be the official excuse anyway.

A lot of mistakes from both players, but this is really enthralling viewing!

Why was free ball worth two?

Because no reds left, and hence takes the value of the yellow?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 231 ✭✭kegg

    Love these safety battles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 56,710 ✭✭✭✭walshb

    Epic frame!

The patience from judd. Couple of years ago he'd have taken that pink on or had a lash at the brown 10 shots back. Great to watch, arguably the best safety player now as well as the best potter. Doesn't seem fair.

Very strange but entertaining match so far.

    Yeah

Can the commentators not mention that for us it’s great viewing?!

Very much enjoyed Frame 14 there. Has there ever been that many fluked snookers and safety shots in one frame?

Great shot on the pink by Trump.

Judds beating him in every department now. Strong favourite for me now.

Yeah, Trump seems to be getting back into form while Roberston is still struggling.

That last frame feels like a turning point

    Good chance for Robbo here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Feels like a must win. All pretty much there for him if he can free the black.

    Well taken these.

Quality from Robertson, not as easy a chance as it first looked. Needed a bit of thought and he picked off the reds nicely.

Brilliant 115 for the record of 13 centuries.

Thought the same. Still favour judd but i wouldn't be betting the mortgage on it.

Slight edge to favour Trump here, but it really is neck and neck stuff.

Judds only made one break over 50 tonight, though i wouldn't say he's played that badly or anything. All round game being excellent, loads of patience and composure. Would really love a decider though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭tanko

That was careless on the black by Robertson but he's rescued the situation there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Brown was such a ballsy pot, was sticking the match up if he'd missed that. Bad of judd to miss the red though, should have been game set and match. Delighted to get the steve ryder anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Arthur Daley

    No going to kip now

Outstanding break by Robertson to take it to a deciding frame

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,908 ✭✭✭✭Rothko

Unsurprisingly going to a decider. This final always had the feeling that it was going to end this way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,912 ✭✭✭✭gormdubhgorm

Snooker is well set between Robertson, Trump and Wilson. Even if Ronnie ever packs it in or dips.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Personally have enjoyed this a lot more than the last pot fest final they played. Real old school type match, bad mixed with good, but great drama, got a bit of everything.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,053 ✭✭✭Tuco88

Great snooker tonight lads... In the trenches stuff.

Yeah, savage pot on that brown, can't believe he took it on. Super break, i thought he missed the last blue.

Miles away from Robertson, Judd misses too, both look very nervous now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Ursenbacher 6/1 to beat judd tomorrow. Has to be a wager. Though i doubt the match will go ahead as scheduled.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,196 ✭✭✭waynescales1

Robertson’s average shot time up in the mid 80s here...

It doesn't go Neil, and I'm far from a pro.

    The TENSION

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Arthur Daley

    No way that clips

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭tanko

Robertson taking a long time with these shots, i know the pressure is huge but he's getting bogged down overthinking things.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,133 ✭✭✭Mervyn Skidmore

    No way that clips

It's ridiculous, it clearly doesn't go. The ref should tell him to get on with things.

Some over thinking going on at moment. Old bad habit on robbos part. Tips up to red after all that.
