Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Robertson gone into ultra safe mode. Trump favourite for me.

I reckon Robertson is knackered and his brain is just fried and that’s what has slowed him down

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,134 ✭✭✭Sandor Clegane

Ref should of told him to get on with it, the shot wasn't on, you can look and look and look but it wont change the fact.

A ref telling a player to hurry up is almost unheard of, let alone in a major final frame decider. Just not gonna happen.

Robertson doesn't seem to be aware I've three kids to get out to school and a meeting at 9am

Whenever this ends you can watch his final against dott in 2010 for the rest of the night. Hats off to trump for his patience.

This mightn’t be over at 9.

Didn't it happen in a televised tournament a few years back with Fergal O'Brien Jan Verhaas told him to hurrybuo on his shots. Well out of order

We need some power snooker sound effects.

That was at least a decade ago. Don't know if it was Jan but ref hurried him up because tv coverage was coming to an end and they wanted to get match finished. It was a team comp and irish lads were furious.

It should've happened there so, no way that ball went and everyone knew it. Trump was probably wondering what the hell was going through Robertson's mind.

Judd hasn't had a lot of run of the balls last few frames

No it shouldn’t. It’s not like he’s done it on every single shot all day. It’s a deciding frame of a final, it’s past midnight and they’ve been playing all day. He’s probably wrecked and being overly cautious with it being the deciding frame

Sorry but I disagree, it was a ridiculous situation.

Going back to sleep. Can't wait for the Scottish open, the next exciting tournament from Milton Keynes.

This is a great watch in fairness. Not the best quality, but gripping!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Arthur Daley

Too much power there. Has he blown it

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,908 ✭✭✭✭Rothko

That could prove to be a very costly miss.

He might get another chance, Robertson still looks very nervous.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Judd looks really shattered, gave it his all and didn't really catch many breaks this frame. Think he just finally snapped with that last red, credit to both of them, some mental stamina on display tonight. Think robbo has it from here but not home and dry just yet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,484 ✭✭✭DelBoy Trotter

Unbelievable miss on the red by Robertson

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭tanko

No conviction in Robertsons shots there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 231 ✭✭kegg

    Not over yet.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

    Angle to move red here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Arthur Daley

    No merit in this green

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭tanko

    This is tough.

    Correct decision.....well done!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,484 ✭✭✭DelBoy Trotter

I think Trump missed a trick there, it was the right choice to play safe off the yellow, but he should have been trying to the the cue ball in behind the green for a snooker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Arthur Daley

Neither player is fluent at this stage

Classic final in it's own way

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Bit lucky but he was always behind pink anyway.

Yeah, I thought that was what he was going to do.

He has now just when he needed it.

Bad miss from a relatively easy snooker on that yellow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,133 ✭✭✭Mervyn Skidmore

Not sure what Taylor is on about, knocking it in would be a great result.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭tanko

What a result for Robertson there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 231 ✭✭kegg

Few jammy shots at the moment.

Trump was very lucky there, another inch or two and it was over.

I thought it was all over there. That was Trump’s chance

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,133 ✭✭✭Mervyn Skidmore

We'll done Robertson, feel sorry for Trump the way it went in the end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,484 ✭✭✭DelBoy Trotter

The fact that Robertson had to check the scoreboard after potting the pink to see if he’d won it shows how exhausted he must be!

    Epic final, really enjoyed that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Look how shattered robbo is. Judd looks like he's seen a ghost. Am exhausted just watching. Extraordinary match.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,908 ✭✭✭✭Rothko

Amazing final. Well done to Robertson.

Not a great comment by Trump... “I just bottled it”..
