Didn't it happen in a televised tournament a few years back with Fergal O'Brien Jan Verhaas told him to hurrybuo on his shots. Well out of order

That was at least a decade ago. Don't know if it was Jan but ref hurried him up because tv coverage was coming to an end and they wanted to get match finished. It was a team comp and irish lads were furious.

It should've happened there so, no way that ball went and everyone knew it. Trump was probably wondering what the hell was going through Robertson's mind.

No it shouldn’t. It’s not like he’s done it on every single shot all day. It’s a deciding frame of a final, it’s past midnight and they’ve been playing all day. He’s probably wrecked and being overly cautious with it being the deciding frame

I think Trump missed a trick there, it was the right choice to play safe off the yellow, but he should have been trying to the the cue ball in behind the green for a snooker
