Hey, I've some similar beliefs to Linehan in that I don't accept that trans women = women but fcuked if I'd go to the lengths he went to to protest.

...have recently made their Twitter page private because someone screen shot a tweet they made on the 10th of February 2021 and people began to report it. The group's twitter page is still there so I suppose groups making full on death threats are not subject to banning on Twitter.

That is not a nasty comment. That is a call to kill ''Terfs'', proof yet again that the word (often used here, against people like me) is a loaded slur and a hate denominator.
As for Graham Linehan he is an utter silly billy who says very unpleasant things and often seems to act out in ways that are distasteful and insupportable.
I do not have to defend him, as I could not care less about him.
I do also think that lesbians as adult human females who like other adult human females deserve their own sex-based spaces.
These various thoughts can all co-exist in my mind without my brain imploding. It's amazing.

Well I'm sure that there's no forum rules about making up anecdotes but I am also "in Galway" and I know trans people here. They'd find it so absurd, like a "and then everyone clapped" type scenario.

I shouldn't be surprised though, the level of knowledge some posters have about actual trans people and their lives seems to be very low. Seems to be that only a very filtered and biased type of information seems to be propagating and a lot is from bad faith actors who want to make a specific generalisation of trans people.

That's right, he IS the chap who tried to re-use the historical strategy of associating a gender/sexual minority with pedophilia.
