Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Virgin keeps losing signal to tv...4 callouts no better!

About a month ago our Virgin media box kept losing signal intermittently (could be every few hours or every few seconds) and a message would pop up saying “your set top box has lost signal to your tv” or something along those lines. Anyway we tried everything, reboot, tv software update, switching hdmi cables etc and in the end they sent an engineer out. Who checked the cables in the attic, shortly after he left it happened again. Called virgin, they sent the same guy out again a week later. He switched our box for a new one, which knocked itself off completely after he left so we rang them again and had to wait another 9 days for the engineer to come back out. Which he did, for the 3rd time, switched the box again as he said that one was faulty and after the new box losing signal yet again while he was still there he said it was a “handshake” issue, he played around with some settings and it was ok for around 24 hours until today when it lost signal again. We have had enough at this stage. Does anyone have any idea if this kind of problem can be fixed at all because we’re strongly considering just cancelling the tv anyway and getting saorview as we hardly watch most of the channels anyway. Any advice or PST experiences would be appreciated, thanks!
