Hi,

Need a new TV for the Xbox Series X and have it shortlisted to these two:

1: LGOLED55CX5LB and
2: Samsung QE55Q90T

I'm leaning towards the LG but stories of screen burn have me worried. I was wondering if the 6 year guarantee covers screen burn or is that outside it? Which TV would you go for, personally? Do you foresee any reductions in these two for Black Friday?

Also, I'd like to have it wall mounted on an arm that moves in/out from the wall so it's a bit neater when not in use, I was wondering if you have any advice on which would be better suited for such a setup?

Thanks in advance

Hi $hifty.

Thanks for the post.

I use OLED myself and am a big gamer.
Screen burn is something that can happen on OLED but if you take regular breaks and change game or the TV station you should not experience it.
To be honest it is very rare for it to happen.

If it does worry you then perhaps QLED is the way to go.
Both are great form of technology and their televisions produce fantastic images.

Our 6 year guarantee would not cover screen burn. Eve the 1 year manufacturers warranty does not cover it.

Both TV were just dropped in price a the start of the week as part of our Black Friday deals.
We have a 14 days price promise in place at the minute so if you made a purchase and the price drops within 14 days you can drop us a call and we can refund any valid price drop back to you.

For a full motion bracket we have the Sanus BLF213 coming in at 199.99 Euro (We could go 150 Euro with either TV).

Hi Kenny,

Interesting, I thought you did a 7 day price promise! That includes other competitors Black Friday sales?

If someone in the south was to buy either today, when is the expected delivery time?

Hi Naoe.

It is normally 7 days but we have increased for a while to cover Black Friday.
It does also cover any competitors pricing that follows our price beat T&C's.

If a TV was purchased today it would not ship until Monday and our service is then 2-4 days depending on location.

Any questions please let me know.

Hi Kenny, thanks for the reply. You guys don't offer TV installation packages, by any chance?

Hi $hifty.

Thanks for the post.

Hi $hifty.

With the current COVID rules we are unable to offer an installation service.
Normally we would only install within 10 miles of the store and we have installers that we can recommend that would cover others areas.
