Parlux hairdryer - any hairdressers out there?

I need a new hairdryer.

I have a Parlux but it's old at this stage and it's cracked from being dropped. However, I love this hairdryer.

I've naturally quite curly/wavy hair that I blow-dry straight every single day. As such, I want the best Parlux there is nowadays.

Any hairdressers out there who could recommend the model please?

Thanks v much

P. S. If there's something better than Parlux, I'm open to suggestions. I toyed with the idea of getting the Dyson hairdryer but I see very mixed reviews for it so I'm not keen...

Do you mind how heavy it is?

Any idea of what airflow you want. I don't like dryers with a weak/slow airflow. Not for me.

Its highly personal TBH.
Barnum Magnesium 2000W Hair Dryer
BaByliss Salon Pro 2200 Hair Dryer
Neither of these are super heavy. And the barnum is powerful for a light dryer.

Not familiar with parlux.

If you’re interested in buying online, I bought my Parlux on amazon a few years ago. Lookfantastic also stock them ( https://www.lookfantastic.com/brands/parlux/parlux.list)

Or if you would like to support an Irish business, this site may be an option: https://www.hennessyhb.ie/Hair-Dryers/Parlux/ (I’ve never ordered from them, just found via google).

Peter marks stock ETI, which many people rave about and regularly compare their models to Parlux (https://petermark.ie/shop/brand/eti-hairdryers). I’ve never used this brand myself, so can’t comment on their efficacy, but they might serve as a cheaper alternative to Parlux.
