Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I notice some posters only quote pieces from my posts and take it out context, leaving the rest of my post out of the quote because it suits them to make a point.

Seemingly they can't make a point from the whole of my original postings.

This is just one of the many pointless 'going around in circles' debating formats.

Debating is utterly pointless if you keep on being selective with your quotations. So the agenda can be suited to your liking.

I'm not taking anything out of context. I prefer to quote the pertinent part of your post. You say the protests are about Covid and then, in your next sentence, admit that it's about ALL protests...which the French have been famous for, for years.

Fictional friends? Okay. The thing I didn't mention in my post was that our mutual friend's father who passed away this morning, had Covid. I suppose you think I'm making that up too? He had dementia and was in a care home in the north.

Sorry penfailed I missed my daily briefing on the ins and outs of your personal life. Mea culpa mea culpa mea maxima culpa.

We must be now getting increasingly close to being on the same page.

Because if you look at each and every reply I have sent to you, I have said since the beginning, that this security law will ban the public from sharing information about police officers.

Meaning that the police cannot be held accountable for their actions during the times of coronavirus or general police brutality.

There are many reasons behind this protest today. Meaning that I have consistently said that are TWO reasons behind the violence which took place today. Which all link with one another. Including the way the French Police have conducted themselves during the coronavirus situation.

More than 150 people are arrested as police clash with anti-lockdown protesters in London and thousands march against restrictions - while 100 Tory MPs prepare to rebel against the tier restrictions after admission that indoor socialising ban could last until Easter

I would have thought the latter from the start tbh. I always imagined normality would come gradually as more people get vaccinated , makes more sense.

It makes perfect sense and no one is shifting goalposts.

We appear to be on exactly the same page to be honest. The French are famous for their protests. The police have been given more powers. The fact that it's happened now may or may not be coincidental.

Oh look there is a deadly pandemic out there, 99.8% people recover from.

Oh look France is introducing laws to make it illegal to film police officers.

Oh look - France has been protesting against covid restrictions for months

Would you not just give his age no? 80+ ? 90+ ?

You are very dishonest. Makes for very bad exchange of posts.

I'll post that he said it was probably coincidental and give a rolleyes to emphasise how patronising I can be for internet points even though that's not what he typed.

Its not co incidental. Seriously have you ever considered that the "measures" to this highly deadly disease that 99.8%+ recover from are a little bit, what would you call it, disproportionate?

I dont need to change your words btw. Its quite clear you think that everything is in very good order. and because country X Y Z did this, that we are fine to do that also here. 0 credibility to your posts thats for sure.

This virus has a 99.96% survival rate and the lockdown was only supposed to last for 2 weeks and then normality could resume. We've spent nearly the whole year in and out off lockdowns and there's no sign of normality returning anytime soon. People have the right to call out the Govt's bull****.

Obviously no one told that to the virus.......

What does the proposed hate crime laws have to do with covid?

How is Dores Cahill talking about a planned explosion in rotterdam calling out the Irish governments bull****?
