    Hi,

Can anyone help me find the right part.. I have a decathlon 500 single speed (link below) which I’d like to convert to a fixed gear for fun. The link below gives a description of the type of cog/lock nut needed on allparts, but I can’t find it there. Can anyone make sense of it as I’d like to try order a compatible part off amazon if I can.

    Thanks!

The link to allparts seems to have the two things you need at the top of the page. The lock ring on the right in the link is the correct spec, and I think it's a case of picking the amount of teeth you want on the cog on the left in the link

It has a flip flop hub so just turn the wheel around. If there's no cog on the other side just buy a cog

I think Decathlon say that it doesn't have either a cog or a lock ring

you'd think they'd have included them with the bike for the extra euro or two it would have added to the price.
