    I'm useless at guessing heights and distances...

    I know how tall Nakatomi Plaza is though, because I looked it up yesterday after all the Die Hard talk, so I tried to imagine Al Powell looking up at the gunfight on the roof from down below as if John McClane was the star on the Christmas Tree...

    and then went for a different number... :pac:

    I was going to say "Did nobody here do woodwork in school?" but given the age of the average contestant here it's probably a bit ambitious expecting them to remember their school days.

    Snap. In an all girl's convent school, woodwork was unheard of. Why would young ladies want to learn something like that? :rolleyes:
    We were lucky they ran the physics class for Leaving Cert for all 5 of us.

    I initially thought how many Ted's high it would be.
    Then realised only a handful here have seen me & know how tall I am.

    So hard to revert to the old reliable of guessing.

    I did woodwork, though I think I missed the estimating the height of Christmas trees lesson. We used to bunk off a lot and go for a smoke.

    I did woodwork in first and second year and don't remember any Christmas Tree lesson either.

    Actually mostly all I remember from woodwork is me and my best friend making stakes so we could go slay some vampires...

    We were pretty cool, obviously... :cool:
