I’m in the kitchen, the wooden spoon in hand and pretending I’m chopping down a Christmas tree!

    My technique is bang on!

Good morning elves, welcome to day 11 of the Forum Games Sheepish Advent Calendar!
    tenor.gif

So yesterday we found out how many trees get sold. But before they can be sold, someone has to chop them down!
    chopped_tcm25-454405.jpg

Q11: How many Christmas trees did Erin Lavoie (pictured above) chop down in two minutes to set the world record?

As always, PM me your answer before 7pm
I'll reveal everyone's answers and scores around 8:00-8:30pm

Ah, come on, seriously? Another tree question? :(

I think I'll take a leaf out of other posters' puns and do a root and branch analysis of my strategy.

We just had a discussion in the house last week and I couldn't think of a specialist subject, now I have one!

Who else is going around with an imaginary axe trying to time how long it would take to chop down a Christmas tree? Getting some weird looks in the office

Continued with my maths approach today. Content with my answer.

(I'm not looking up the actual answer because I like the suspense)

Here is a mantra for all the twee questions repeat it 10 times while spinning in a circle.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Ah for feck sake. I looked up the answer after submitting and unless there's a xmas miracle (unlikely as xmas sucks) I'll likely be getting negative points this evening.

I looked it up after submitting my answer as well, and I'm shocked - shocked, I tells ya - at how close I was!!

What that means in terms of actual scores this evening, however......

No, I'm fed up of trees and tree puns too. You moan about three tree questions but imagine how much reading I've had to do about trees to get these questions. Honestly, the amount I've redwood makes your eyes roll into head!

    ...totally worth it :D

Well I suppose it depends on how thick the trunks are, if they were like the Worlds tallest tree I'd say zero if they're like my tree in the backyard then one chop with a meat cleaver ( never mind an axe ) would suffice.
