Argos Home Delivery

For furniture that is home delivery only would Argos deliver it themselves or do they use courier?

Do they just send a text alert on the day of delivery or do they drivers phone to say what time they are coming?

I’ve bought stuff for my parents but need to know the time window so that I can get them out of the house.

Yes I read that and information on a website can be out of date. The experience of boards.ie members or the knowledge of a customer support agent I’d much better.

I was unable to speak on the phone early but just got through.

The driver usually phoned an hour so before delivery but after placing the phone free customers should contact customer support to ensure it is noted that such a phone call is important.

In my experience the delivery slot I got was 9am to 9pm, nothing further. So frustrating

In my experience it's via an Argos truck/lorry but I can't remember if there was a text, it was a few years back tho so things may have changed
