Looking at a 55" A8 and pairing it with a Sonos Beam.

What's the best Black Friday / Boardie Special you could do on this delivered to Cork?

One question on the A8 as well - does it handle reflections ok? Coming from a Panasonic plasma so I'd imagine I'll be ok but thought I'd ask to be on the safe side.

I thought the standard setting for picture looked perfect to me (I'm no expert mind), however after reading this message I did do a search and found on RTINGS a recommended custom setting which I tried which also looks pretty good to me. Netflix, Disney Plus and Sky UHD are amazing...really amazing and I'm disappointed now when the signal is not 4K! As far as sound goes I tried several sound settings before hooking up the Beam but to be honest none could hold a candle to it, the bass is just not there. I'm adding a set of Sonos Ones SL for the rears to complete my set up this week.

They really are amazing televisions.

It can be best to just sit down for an hour and play around with them to see which suits the individual better but there are some good guides out there for the settings.

Unfortunately the Sonos Beam has sold out in both colours.

We are chasing their ETA but have no luck as of yet.

Well disappointingly the delivery didn’t arrive today despite getting a text to say it would.

Spoke to the courier this morning and was told it would be here between 2 and 4 and when it didn’t arrive spoke to them again and they said it would be here by 6 and still nothing.

They then told me that the courier that they subbed the delivery out to would call me and I have heard nothing since 😰

It would seem that our main warehouse have ran out of stock on the Beam in white. I've only aware of this now myself.

I'm currently trying to get an ETA or if I might be able to release a Black one that is reserved for someone else if a Black one would suit?

If I had known there was no stock I could have ordered elsewhere with one of the various Black Friday deals that were floating about but obviously I've missed out on those now.

You will still get the white one at the Black Friday price.

They did show in stock when I was originally talking to you but it would seem that there was not enough at the main warehouse when it came to picking.
Unfortunately this is out of my control and the warehouse is based in Manchester and provides stock for both the .co.uk and .ie website and all of the Richersounds store.
If I had of thought you would not get one I would have told you not to order it.

We are chasing these directly with Sonos now but it could be a day or two before we get an update.

Just got a call from John and he's come up with a great solution to resolve this.
